Dre, Darnell, and Blade picked up my mothers body and put it in the car.

"I got some duck tape in the glove compartment y'all use it to wrap her arms and legs." Ricky said.

Niggas just randomly carry duck tape?

I went in the glove compartment and pulled out the tape handing it to the boys in the back. Ricky started driving and all of a sudden it started to rain.

"Good thing we got this shit done before it started raining." Dre said.

"Forreal shit would just be more complicated than it already is." Darnell said.

"I just texted the guys and told them to book a room in a motel. Go to the one we always go to Ricky." Blade said.

Ricky nodded his head and looked over at me. I looked back at him and he smiled and shook his head.

"Clown." I mumbled.

We continued our drive to the motel and when we pulled up there was a car already there. The boys got out the car and walked in the motel leaving my moms body in the back.

I was gonna get out till Ricky stopped me.

"Stay here." He said.

"What why?" I asked.

"Cause we ain't gonna take long and it's raining outside. I ain't got no umbrella to cover you." He said.

He walked out before I could say anything else. He grabbed my mom from the back and threw her over his shoulder. I was in the car all by myself and I let out a long deep breath.

I'm in this shit so deep.

I closed my eyes for a little and thought about what I'm a have to do next.

Definitely question the shit out of my mom.

I mean how the hell didn't I realize that was her.

Maybe cause you ain't never seen her before.

The car door slammed shut and I jumped.

"Why the hell you so jumpy ma?" Ricky asked.

He was soaked a little but not too much due to the rain.

"You slamming doors and not expecting me to jump?" I asked.

"Nah somethings wrong and you seem so distant and non annoying. I don't like it what's wrong with you?" He asked.

I let out a sigh and played with my fingers. "I meet my mom today and it wasn't the first time I met her. This was the second time I bumped in to her at the diner Ricky and I didn't even know it was her. I shot her in the leg cause I was upset and to tell you the truth I'm really tempted to beat her ass for what she did to me." I said truthfully.

"The first time you met her y'all talked or you just saw her at the diner?" Ricky asked.

"I talked to her and she asked me where the orphanage was." I wiped a tear before it fell.

"Why would she ask me that? And then she hit me with the hi baby when she turned around today like what is wrong with her? She literally had a whole conversation with me as is she didn't abandon me 20 years ago."

I started crying and didn't bother to wipe the tears away. It was just strong emotions I needed to let out and I didn't care if Ricky saw.

"Look Ny whenever your mother wakes up you could ask her all them questions and we all gonna be right there to support you. Stop crying like a little baby cause last time I check you a grown ass women." He said.
