One Step

I woke up the next morning and decided I wasn't going to go to school. Instead I would use these days to study when I get the chance and then take my finals on Friday.

I brushed my teeth washed my face and went downstairs to see Blade, the guys, and Damian.

"Morning guys." I said walking down the steps.

My response was filled with a mixture of hey Anaya and wassup Ny.

I sat down on the leg of the chair where Ricky was sitting.

"Anaya lemme take you out to IHOP. I promise you that after this date you gonna love me." Blade said smiling.

I laughed at the statement. "Thanks for the offer Blade but I don't think a date between us is gonna happen." I said.

He laughed. "And why is that?"

"Cause she and pretty Ricky made shit official last night." Dre said.

Blade looked shocked. "Oh word? Dam I don't even have the money on me right now." He said.

"Money? Money for what?" I asked.

"Stop talking Blade." Ricky said.

Blade had a smirk on his face. "Ricky ain't tell you?" He asked.

"Blade." Ricky said in a warning tone of voice.

I glared at him and stood up.

"Tell me what?" I asked.

"About our bet. We betted 10,000 dollars to see who could make you their girl first and it looks like Ricky won."

I turned around and gave him a shocked look.
"You betted money on me?" I asked.

He got up and tried to touch me but I backed away.

"Ny I know how it look-"

"Stop talking. All that shit you was saying last night wasn't true was it?" I asked.

"Yes it was."

"Blade when did y'all make this bet, and I want the truth." I said.

He clenched his jaw and looked at me and then Ricky. He let out a sigh and looked down.

"The night we took you out on a drill." He said.

"That's the same night you started being nice." I said shocked.

"No Ny."

I shook my head so Ricky could stop talking. "It was all apart of your bet all so you could get some stupid as 10,000 dollars." I said.

I looked at Dre and Darnell.

"You two." I said pointing at them. "Did y'all know about this?" I asked.

"Well-"

"Did. Y'all. Know? Yes or no?" I asked.

"Yea..we did." Darnell said.

I felt so betrayed at this point I couldn't even wrap my head around it. I went to walk upstairs but Ricky grabbed my hand.
