"I swear, if he ever talks to me like that again, I will personally abduct his locker at the shower room and steal all his underwear. And then I'll cut the center part of it and, and..."

Alania stifled her laugh as she saw her friend struggling to find words. Oh how much she loved her.

"Oh I don't know! But I will do it. Don't laugh at me on this Alania."

At that, Alania couldn't stop the laughter from coming out of her mouth. Even the joking glare of her friend couldn't stop her from enjoying now.

After the small spectacle at school, which thankfully didn't attract any unwanted attention, Alania and Corona went directly to an ice cream shop to cool themselves off. They got their ice creams before sitting down at a kiddie mat beside the slide.

"Yeah yeah, you couldn't even enter the boys' shower room without fainting. Remember last time?" Alania said cheekily.

Corona rolled her eyes. "I was tired at that time. Blame Coach Greene for for making us run for 5 laps. And blame the field for being too big."

"You should jog more often in the morning."

She heard her scoff. "And do you?"

"I do." Alania said defensively.

"Yeah, like once a year."

She threw the pillow beside her to Corona, which her friend quickly stops from hitting her face. Corona sticks out her tongue childishly, which Alania laughs hard at.

They both laughed together, not caring for the looks that were being given to them.

As their laughter died down, Alania heard her friend sigh dramatically.

"Why are hot guys such a douche? Reachable, but a douche."

Alania raised an eyebrow, to which her friend just shrugged on.

"What? We are goddesses. It's not hard to catch a guy's attention."

Alamia rolled her eyes before leaning against the slide.

"I don't know Corona." She said sadly.

She couldn't help but think of her situation now. There aren't any progress yet with her relationship to her estranged boyfriend. She had enough problems in her life, yet she couldn't let this one problem slip. She needed to do this, despite knowing how hard this will be.

Corona must've sensed the atmosphere changing, because she suddenly stood up, offering her hand to her not-by-blood sister.

"Come on, let's take a walk."

They immediately went to the park just across the street and strolled around when Corona's phone started to ring.

"Hello?" Corona asked.

Alania looked at her friend who rolled her eyes, and heard her mumble an 'I'll be there soon.'

Corona sighed. "Well, my mom just called me. Saying we have a family dinner with some friends."

Alania smiled. "Take care on the way back to your home okay?"

"Aren't you gonna go with me, and go home too?"

Alania shook her head. "Nope. I'll stay for a while."
