"Why do you think, that after three weeks of ignorance of each other's presence, Alania suddenly comes out of her shell and talks to me?"
"Maybe she knows of your plan."
That sentence made Derek stop.
He rubbed his chin, thinking thoughtfully about it.
No. No one knew about it except his friends. And they are to loyal on their brotherhood to betray him.
"Move fast, jackass. We're gonna be late." Ryder glared at his friend, pushing him to their next class.
After the stupid debacle at lunch, they went their separate ways going to their next class. And Ryder, fortunately and at the same time unfortunately, is going to be in Derek's next class. In fact, they have all the same classes together.
Derek scoffed, pushing away his friend. "Lead us to class, fatass."
------"I swear, I feel like he hates me."
Alania rolled her eyes at her friend's dramatic rant since lunch.
"Like whenever he looks at me, which you wouldn't take notice of since you're busy ogling your boyfriend, he looks like he wanna kill. And you heard how he greeted me earlier. When he greeted you, he was like 'Hi Alania' with teeth showing, and a cute dimple. And then when it came to me he was like 'Hello Corona', and he had this gollum-like eyes that looks innocent to others but when you really look into it, he's got this big plan for my assassination!" Corona exclaimed, breathing heavily as talking continuously at a fast rate, and walking at the same time seemed to take a toll on her.
They were on their way to their next class, which they have together.
Again, Alania rolled her eyes at her friend.
"Maybe you did something to offend him?" She suggested.
"Offend him?" Corona scoffed. "What is so offensive about admiring him from afar. It's not like I'm ready to steal his underwear when he's taking a bath at the shower room."
Alania laughed at her friend's words. She went from talking about some assassination -her's to be exact- to her crush's underwear real quick.
She went along her friend's rant, knowing that no matter how crazy Corona may be sometimes, she always had been there for Alania, still is, and always will.
They entered their classroom just as the bell rang.
Alania and Corona went to their seats as students around them chattered on. The teacher wasn't in yet, which explains the havoc inside their classroom.
They were talking about some book that Corona just bought when the door opened slightly.
It was just a small opening, but it was enough to silence the whole classroom.
Alania couldn't blame them though, their subject was Values Education. It wasn't a graded subject, it only aims to help discipline students. But it was compulsory, so no one ever did graduate without going through this subject and it's very strict teacher, Mr. Grunt. Even his name itself was terrifying. He demanded discipline from us like how pain demands to see people break down.
It took a moment before the door opened wide, revealing the school's guidance counselor, Ms. Jenna Kerry.
"Good Afternoon class."
