I wonder if Raven felt like this before she died. I am twitchy and manic. I can't stay still in class. I am running to classes. The bullying doesn't bother me anymore. I just am so happy to die soon.

Today is the day. I have the rope and I have my note and I have my tree.
I leave my note on the counter and go outside. I start to tie a noose. I slowly climb up the tree. I can feel the bark on my hands. This is the last thing I will feel and I am okay with that.
I remember Matt and I used to climb this tree when we were kids.
I put the rope around my neck.
I hear Erin's van pull into the driveway. I think about saying goodbye to her but dismiss the idea. I jump from the tree. The rope tightened and I can't breathe. The world is going black.
"JULIA!!" is the last thing I hear Erin say. I hear the click of a knife and the rope splitting.

Erin:
"JULIA!!" I scream. I see her hanging from a rope. I run over and take out my knife. She is limp when I cut her down and she falls to the ground. I call 911 and cradle her head. I grab her wrist and attempt to find a pulse. I do. Yes, she is still alive.
