The hobbit

(Pacifica's pov)

It took us 30 minutes to get to Mabel and Dippers house. Even though it was a short ride it felt really longer then it really was. I looked out the window and say "wow, it's been a while since I've been here." I also scratch my arm, i'm really nervous. "Don't worry, since we're best friends now you'll get used to it," Mabel says pumping her fist in the Air. I laugh, which gets her to smile.

We get out, start getting out our stuff from the trunk. I guess Dipper already went in side.. I looked around seeing he's not with us. I grabbed my duffle bag, and Mabel grabs my other one. We walk in side and walked up a flight of stairs. We get to a room, which had two beds in it and a window between them. We placed my stuff on the bed to the left of the window. "This is Dippers old bed," Mabel says, pointing to where my stuff was at. I blush, I'm sleeping on Dippers bed.... Mabel smiles and starts heading down to the living room, I followed her. When we get to relax living room, Dipper was already there. "So what do you want to do?" Mabel asks excitedly. "To be honest, I never really had a real sleep over," I replied truthfully. "WHAT!?!?!" she screams. "You've never been to a sleep over!" "No, Well kind of. More like we just got on our phones and went to sleep afterwards.." I confess.

"Omg, you'll have so much fun!" she was really excited now. I hope she's right, but I really don't want to screw things up, I really want to keep this friendship. "Be right back," she says running off. I turn to see Dipper was still in here, he looked at me for a sec then sat on the couch. He picks up the remote and starts looking for something to watch. I just looked at him. I guessed he saw me starring so I ask "Where did Mabel go?" "I don't know, probably looking for candy or ice cream in the fridge.." He says lazily, not taking his eyes off of the TV.

"Do you mind if I join you?" I ask pointing to the couch. I really didn't want to stand there, that and I don't know what to really do while waiting for Mabel to get back. "Yeah I don't bite," he says. I walks to the couch and sit next to him. He puts on a movie I don't recognize, I looked at the top of the screen where the name was at. The Hobbit? I've never seen this movie.. "I've never seen this movie what's it about?" I ask.

"Oh you mean the Hobbit? Its about a hobbit that has been sent on a quest from a powerful wizard known as Gandolf, and that quest was to helps these dwarves find their treasure they had lost long ago. Its Mabel's favorite movie by the way," he explains. "Interesting," I really wasn't into fantasy and all, but I really would like to try it out.

Mabel runs back into the living room with some candy bags in arms. "Wa lah," she says smirking. She turns her head to the tv and says "Dipper is that the Hobbit?" Yeah." "Yes!, Dipper get the popcorn!" "Why me?" "Well i just came out of the kitchen and Pacifica doesn't know her place around sooo, yea" "Fine." he says, getting up and going to the kitchen. I couldn't help it, I laughed when he was out of ear shot.

Mabel sits on my other side and offers me candy. "Thanks," I reached my hand in the bag and grabbed a few pieces of candy. I ate the candy while Mabel does the same. "I heard you like the Hobbit." "YES! Best movie ever!" she replies, dropping the bag of candy. I laugh and pick the bag up. She giggles and helps pick up the pieces that fell out of the bag. I placed the bag on the floor near us. Mabel sits back up, and starts watching the movie. I do the same bit then I see Dipper walked in already.

I scoot over, letting him know he can still next to me. He sits next to me. Thanks bro bro!" Mabel says grabbing a handful of popcorn "your welcome," he says doing the same, smiling. We were about half way through the movie I think and Mabel had fallen asleep, to be honest though I really didn't care. She was right the movie is awesome!

I feel in the bowl for popcorn but I hear Dipper laugh. I looked over at him to see why he was laughing and asked "What's so funny?" I was a little amused by his laughter. "I never seen you so interested in a movie before, anyway i'm going to get a drink, want anything?" He asks. "Actually yes, and can I go with you?" I ask. I kind of want some alone time with Dipper. "Yeah sure."  He gets up and starts going to the kitchen, I follow not far from him.

When we get to the kitchen he gets in the fridge and asks, "what do you want to drink?" "Just water," I answered leaning on the table. He grabs out a peach cola soda and goes to a cabinet and grabs out a glass. He hands me the glass and points to the sink. I went the the sink, turned it on. Filled my glass up.

I have a feeling that Dipper was staring at me, I turn my head to him and I was right. He wasn't just staring at me, but my butt. He must have saw me looking at him, cause he turned his head away quickly. I blush and turn my head back to my glass.

I know I'm probably going to regret this but... I turn the sink off and faced him with my glass in hand. I take a sip slowly, then set the glass down. Bits of water was on my lips, so I lick the water off slowly. He blushed deeply, I guess I was doing a good job. He sets his peach cola on the counter, and walks to me. I lean against the sink as he places his hands on the counter on each side of me. Crap maybe that was a bad idea....
