The Copycat killer was in a Maywood suburban home cleaning up some of his mess. The wife, husband and 11 year old son were lying on the front lawn. The wife hacked up, the husband impaled on the fence and the son beaten to death not far from him.

"Thought you could out-smart me?" asked a voice,

Copycat turned around to see Jak standing there wielding a chainsaw. He smiled and crossed his arms.

"I think I did," smirked Copycat as he removed his mask.

Jak stared in shock,

"It's you; you're the one that interrupted me at the FBI office," replied Jak as he pointed to Copycat.

He shrugged his shoulders,

"Well I couldn't have you kill my partner; if you killed Nathan then the first person they would have suspected was me and I can't have that. I've been carefully killing in threes for years now, I wasn't gonna have some dickhead from Miami ruin it. I kill because I have to... I'm a monster but you; you kill as a way of dealing with how you failed to protect your wife," explained Copycat.

"FUCK YOU!" yelled Jak, "it's none if your business."

"Lindross, I'm FBI, everything is our business," replied copycat.

Jak started up his chainsaw and revved it; he was about to charge toward him when he heard sirens. Copycat looked at his watch it was about time someone noticed the bodies on the front lawn and called the cops.

"Time to split Lindross, unless you want to be caught," added Copycat, "feel free to join me."

Ben's phone went off; he lifted his head out from under his pillow and grabbed the phone.

"What" mumbled Ben as he held his head with the other hand.

"Ben. It's Hunt. I know you pulled yourself off the case but please come down to this crime scene and see why the FBI needs B-CATT," pleaded Hunt.

Ben hung up and turned over; he lied there thinking about both the cases and how to fix his marriage. Ben's phone rang again;

"What," grumbled Ben.

"Sorry Ben... Its Sarah," she answered quietly.

Ben sat up a bit,

"No I'm sorry I'm avoiding someone and I thought you were him calling. What's up?" asked Ben.

"Is Bryan at your place?" she asked,

Ben thought for a bit he remembered saying goodbye to him at early hours of the morning.

"No I said goodbye to him sometime this morning...why?" asked Ben with curiosity.

Sarah sighed and sounded very worried.

"Bryan didn't come home and he's not answering his cell," replied Sarah with worry, "even Jacobi doesn't know where he is."

Ben rubbed his forehead; a huge headache was forming.

"I shouldn't have let him leave," explained Ben, "he'd had way too much to drink; I told him to crash at mine but he wanted to get home."

Ben could tell Sarah was beginning to panic.

"Look I'll give Wolf and the squad a buzz, we'll find him," added Ben,

"Thank you Ben; We've been worried about Bryan lately, ever since he found out that Drake got accepted into the LAPD Academy," replied Sarah as she hung up.

Ben went downstairs and turned the TV on; Copycat had hit again, this time a wife, husband and 11 year old boy. Ben sat down and sighed; Bryan was right, neither killer would stop until they were killed or captured. Ben was about to turn the TV off when it got his attention.

"Two cars were involved in an accident and abandoned; police believe one car is stolen and the other is believed to be an undercover police car both drivers are missing," explained the reporter on the TV.

Ben recognized the car; it was Bryan's.
He immediately grabbed his phone and rang Wolf.

"Wolf. Where are you right now?" asked Ben,

"Driving, why?" replied Wolf with another question.

"Get down to my place, Bryan is missing and I think one of the killers have him," said Ben.

Wolf was quiet for a bit realizing Ben was getting hooked to the cases again.

"Ben we're not on those cases anymore," explained Wolf.

"Wolf. One of the killers has a cop now," snapped Ben, "...it just became our case."
