Monday Morning
Kendall's POV

The alarm on my phone goes off telling me to wake up. Last night Lamelo dumb self and I stayed up until 3 O'Clock watching movies. The time is 5:45 right now and I'm about to snooze that.

I look down at the floor to see Melo mouth wide open snoring loud as ever. I grab my phone opening Snapchat and take a picture of it. I grab the egg plant emoji and put it where Melo mouth is. "Mornings with this dweeb" I caption it.

"Ugh" I say exaggerating the U part. Welp... I'm staying home today. Forget school. I lay back down quickly drifting back to sleep.

"GET YO BEHIND UP NOW!" My mom yells to me yanking the covers off of my body. I peek over to the floor to see if Melo is still here and thankfully he isn't. We aren't allowed to have boys in the house after Shan got caught with some boy back in her 6th grade year.

"Mom let me stay home please." I whine. "NO GET UP! YOU HAVE ME LATE TO WORK! IT IS 7:50 RIGHT NOW AND IM LEAVING AT 8:00! IF YOU ARE NOT UP AND READY BY THEN, YO PHONE IS MINES!" She screams. I guess Shan has caught the bus. What happened to Melo?

I raise up out of my bed and close my room door behind my mom. I quickly found the clothes that I planned last night and put my hair in a bun. "I'll do my edges at school! Forget that." I think.

I brushed my teeth and run down the stairs and into the kitchen where my mom is literally waiting at the clock. "Hm. 1 more minute to go. Lucky."

The doorway to the lunchroom filled up pretty quickly once everyone noticed that there was a fight. Always some fight. I slowly walk over to the loud echoes of "fight fight fight." I begin to see Liangelo and surprisingly Shan. WOAH!

I run over to Shan and grab her arms. "SHAN CALM DOWN!" I say struggling to to hold her back. "NO! HE ALWAYS MESSES EVERYTHING UP! EVERYTHING" Shan bursts into tears and runs off somewhere. "Gelo?" I begin to to raise my voice. Everyone around us has they're phones out being sure to record this and post it on they're social medias.

I don't care though. Shan is my sister. "GELO?" I yell. "Me and Isabella got back together." Gelo mumbles.

I walk up to him wanting to slap him. For some reason my body tells me to hug him instead. Gelo not once put his hands on Shan even though she kept slapping him and tempting him. He confusingly accepts my hug. "It's okay Gelo. I understand." I whisper.

I soon let go of the hug to find Melo jogging up to the now smaller crowd. "What the heck happened?" He asked. The assistant principal comes out to us and everyone scatters. "You, You, and You. Come with me." Ms. Baker yells while pointing at Gelo, Melo, and I.

"What?!? I didn't even do anything!" Melo whines. We all silently followed the ap to her office in a shameful line. As we got into the office Baker guides me and Melo to the seats outside of the office and Gelo walks in to talk to her.

"So what happened?" Melo asks me. "Your brother got back with Izzy and Shan isn't too happy about it. She fought him then ran off." I reply.

Melo sighs as if he already knew. "Yeah, they been got back together. Gelo has been lying to Shan all along but I promised I wouldn't say anything."

"Well. Hey it isn't our business. Don't get me wrong, I do feel some type of way that you kept that from me but you know.... family before friends so I get it", I sigh.

"Ken.. you are family and that's why I should've told you."

NO I DON'T WANNA BE JUST FAMILY! I WANT TO SAY IM YOURS AND YOU'RE MINES!

"Wow that means a lot." I say fake smiling.
