Tuesday night
Kendall's POV

What the heck. I call Melo one more time which goes to voice mail once again. "Ugh." I say exaggerating the U.

I don't understand. He kissed me back. Cass walks over to me from the bleachers to give me a hug. "GOOD JOB GIRL YOU WON ALL YOUR EVENTS!" She yells. When she lets go of the hug she notices I'm not really in the correct mood for her.

"Hey? You okay?" She asks genuinely concerned. "I- come here." I say while dragging her to some place quieter. "Melo and I kissed." I confess. Before I could say anything else there is a whole crowd around a group of boys who I guess were in the track meet.

Cass and I both looked at each other confused and walked over to the crowd. "FIGHT FIGHT FIGHT." The crowd echoes.

Once I was able to fidget myself around the group until I was in the middle, I see Melo, Gelo and Jaylen arguing with a group of boys.

"BOY LIKE I SAID, TALK TO MY GIRL ONE MORE TIME AND MY CREW GONNA FIND YOU!" Some random boy yells to Melo.

"YOUR GIRL THE ONE WHO WANTED ME! THATS WHY SHE WAS ALL UP ON ME AT MY HOUSE THE OTHER NIGHT NIGGA." Melo snaps back. A gasp escapes from my lips. I knew what happened but I didn't think he was going to say it to everyone.

Before I knew it, Melo is on the ground while the boy is punching the crap out of him.

"AYE GET YOUR HANDS OFF MY LITTLE BROTHER DOG!" Gelo says as he punches some kid who was trying to also fight Melo. Jaylen is fighting some other dude and there was 3 fights going all at once.

"Me-Melo. ST-"

"Kendall? Ken wake up! KENDALL!?" Melo yells.

As my eyes blink open I see a relieved Melo pulling me up into a hug. Cass runs over to us. "SHE WOKE UP? THANK GOD. ARE YOU OKAY?" She asks.

Teri eventually joins the group out of no where. "What happened?" I ask everyone.

"I don't know, you just fainted I guess", Cass replied while looking at Melo. They help me get up and the crowd from earlier disappeared.

"How long was I out?"

"5 minutes. But Melo over here is kind of over reacting." Cass says patting his back.

"What happened to your eye? And lip.. why so many scratches? Did you even fight back? What the heck!" I say to Melo while looking at his fresh beaten up face.

"I saw you on the ground, I got distracted. They jumped me for about 30 seconds and ran. I was too worried about you." He replies.

"I thought you were mad at me." I say putting my head down in shame. Melo lifts up my chin and says "I'm not" before pecking my forehead.

He then pulls me into a hug and I rub his back. "Can I stay at your house tonight? I can't let my dad see this." He asks. I nod in his chest.
