Monday Afternoon
Omniscient POV

Melo and Kendall were now walking home after leaving Melo practice. Today has been really long for both of them and they were really exhausted. "Hey are you okay?" Melo suddenly asks Kendall noticing she had a stale face on her the whole time.

"Yeah I guess. Just stress you know?" Kendall replies. Melo soon stopped walking only to see Kendall continue walking but faster. "Oh my god." Melo huffs. "Are you on your period or something?"

"NO! Don't ask me a stupid question like that, I'm literally just walking." Kendall shot back. Kendall was completely head over heals for Melo only for him to not like her back. She is really angry with him but can't tell him that.

"Well why you acting like a drama queen right now- Don't get me wrong, you aren't one but you really acting like one", Lamelo quickly corrects himself knowing that would start a fight.

"IM NOT ACTING LIKE ANYTHING! CAN WE PLEASE GO?" Kendall replies obviously annoyed.

As Kendall walks at a fast pace in front of Melo, Melo walks extra slow behind her leaving a big space in between. Kendall stops. "WHY ARE YOU WALKING SO SLOW?" Kendall yells out of no where.

"You know what? Shut up! Fix yo attitude Ken because I dunno what got you upset all of a sudden! But you not about to put it on me! So I'm walking home BY MYSELF and text me when you wanna act right. I'll be at O's house!" Melo yells and walks away.

Kendall begin feeling tears threatening to come out but she blinks them away and run to the house. She doesn't understand why she's acting like such a girl. I mean she is a girl but she doesn't act girly. When she finally gets home and goes to the bathroom. "Oh crap."

A drop of blood goes into the toilet paper as she wipes herself. "It was my period.." she mumbles.

After Kendall gets done doing her business, she goes into her room and takes out her phone.

Hey it's- LAMELO BALL- bruh stop playin'. Anyways you know who it is. Leave a message. Lamelo voicemail came on.

She called him one more time and the same thing happened. Kendall decided to wait a while so she can work on her homework.

"Hey wanna come over?" Melo yelled to O as he was about to walk back home. "Nah, momma cookin' tonight. See you tomorrow."

Lamelo walked home in the darkness. He looked at the time to see it was 9:30 pm. As he look over to missed calls he got 2 from Ken and 10 from Lavar. Lamelo quickly called his dad back to see what's wrong. "WHAT THE HELL HAPPENED? PRACTICE WAS OVER 3 HOURS AGO! WE STAYIN UP ALL NIGHT WORKING OUT NOW SINCE YOU WANT TO PLAY GAMES!" Lavar roared through the phone.

Lamelo really didn't know they had practice and he felt betrayed that Gelo didn't say anything about it. He was very scared to go home.

Once Melo reached his house he slowly walked towards the front door. Melo took a glanced towards Kendall's house. "I really don't wanna deal with him", Melo thought.

He snuck over to Kendall's side of the house and over to her window. He then knocks which wakes up Kendall.

Kendall walks over to the window genuinely confused. "Hey? I thought you were mad at me?" She says opening the window.

"No, can I stay the night please?"

Kendall steps aside letting Melo come in. "You okay?" Kendall asks. "No. My dad is upset with me and I'm scared to go back home." Melo confessed.

"I don't think it's a good idea to stay with me, Mel. Maybe he isn't mad anymore."

"No! Please let me stay the night", Melo whisper yells.

Kendall sighs but eventually gives in. She hands him a pillow and a blanket and Melo makes his usual pallet on the floor.

They soon drift off to sleep.

Tuesday Morning, day of track meet
Kendall's POV

"GET UP!" Shan bangs on the door. Shan got suspended from school for 3 days for the fight but mom and dad has been definitely keeping her busy.

I jump up and notices Melo still on the floor. I hurry out of bed and slap Melo multiple times on the cheek telling him to wake up before someone comes in.

"Melo!" I say exaggerating the o. "Huh?" Melo finally wakes up. "Get out! You have to go!"

Melo jumps up and looks at the clock on my cable box and it's 7:30. He hurries up and grabs his pants and shirt and hops out my window. This guy.

"All you have to do is run the 100, 200, and 400. Not so bad." Cass sarcastically says. Track Meet.

Thank you guys for reading. Sorry I haven't been updating. Tomorrow is my last day of school so I'll be having more time to write. I have a track meet on Saturday and I'm running the 100 and 200.
