Friday Afternoon
OmniscientExams were next week and it was all of the students responsibilities to study on Wednesday when there wasn't school.
Teri already knew everything she needed to know. Her parents made sure to have her on a strict schedule to not hang out with Jaylen anymore.
Kendall helped Melo study yesterday with almost every subject because he's struggling with them all.
Kendall is in the middle. She would never be failing, but she wasn't above average. Exams were the last thing on Kendall's mind. She needed a good distraction.
Everyone did. There was only 2 more weeks of school and she barely accomplished anything educationally. Evidently, she wouldn't mind dropping out at this point.
It was finally the end of LaMelo's and Kendall's study session and she was tired.
"Alright, you sure you don't need anymore help for the rest of the night? Because I'm about to go home." Kendall roles onto her back on Melo's bed slightly closing her eyes.
Melo chuckled at her exhaustion and decided to give her a break. "Why don't you just go home, I'll call you later." Melo suggested.
"Not yet. Tell me about tomorrow's game. Are you excited?" Kendall stirred a conversation. Kendall really didn't want to face the fact that she'd be alone at home. She was miserably lonely. Shan was constantly out with Devonte and her mom has been at work.
"Hell yeah I'm excited. But I mean it's not really nothing, you know? I'm already committed. I don't gotta try my best anymore." LaMelo bragged.
"Yeah right. That's probably why you been terrible on the court these past games." Kendall laughed throwing a toy basketball in the air then catching it.
LaMelo snatched the ball out her hands and scoffed. "Bet. I'll whoop yo' ass right now on the court." Melo challenged.
"And you probably would. But I'd beat yo' ass if we was racing." Kendall spat.
"Not with a 12.99 you not." Melo provoked. Kendall slapped her hand across his head constantly.
"BOY!" She yelled still hitting him. He burst into laughters as she kept hitting him.
"Alright! Chill! If you win at horse with me, I guess I'll throw you a twenty. But if I win then.. You'll find out." Melo smirked.
Kendall took the offer hesitantly and the two both walked out his room and going downstairs. "WHERE Y'ALL GOING?" Lavar yelled enthusiastically like always. His bright smile would sometimes creep Kendall out but she waved it off.
"He's about to go give me twenty dollars." Kendall smirked deviously. "No I'm not!" Melo defensively replied. Lavar obnoxiously laughed at the two.
"Aye, Melo if she beat you, you giving me 1000 push ups." Lavar replied jokingly.
He walked upstairs while Gelo came downstairs joined by Isabella. "What's up, Ken?" Gelo asked leaning in for a hug.
"Nothing much right now." Kendall replied. "Hey Izzy, how you been?" She finished.
Isabella and Kendall weren't too close but they always made sure to be friendly when they seen each other.
Isabella flipped her hair to the back of her shoulder and cheesed with perfect teeth. "Good! Oh my god I haven't seen you in a while! We need to take pictures!" She replied over excitedly.
