The Beginning of it All

Chapter Five: Travels and Deception

It has been a week since they first left the kingdom. They still have to pass the other countries in order to get to the Forbidden land. The path will get more treacherous, It has may perils. Ragneer in the back of the group with his eye on Dracin. Ragneer is scared that Dracin would really lose control of what he is holding. Ehecatl was ahead of the group, with Xiu and Hydra behind him. Ashion and Remedy both were behind them, watching them closely. Dracin was behind them looking at the ground with his head down and hands in his pockets. They were near the border, about a few mile from it. They covered it in about a day. Nothing else happened to them along the way. They reached the wolves den. They passed over the border and there were guards there in their armor that was made out of a copper alloy.

"What is your business here?" They asked them.

We replied. "We are just passing through to get into the Forbidden land."

"We need proof that is what your intentions are. If not we are throwing you in the dungeon." The said with a smirk.

"We have the proof right here"- Dracin said as he reached into the bag to grab it but he pulls out nothing- "What? It was right here!"

"Well it is the dungeon for you guys." They grabbed us and all of our gear and took us to the dungeon.

The dungeon smelled like rotten flesh and bone. Cries could be heard in the distance deep in the dungeon. They came to a fork in the path and they split us up they sent Ashion, Dracin, Hydra, and Ragneer down one way, and they took Remedy, Ehecatl, and Xiu down the other path. The guards were menacing and giant. They reeked like wet dog and fresh meat. They took them to their cells which were almost rusted away. They threw us in separate cells, in a perfect square, there was Dracin on the first right, Ragneer on the first left, Hydra on the second right and Ashion on the second left. The others were like this but minus the second left. Dracin took in a breath and sighed.

"Why does this happen to me? Why do I have such bad luck?" Dracin softly spoke as if he was thinking aloud.

He held his head down. Hydra was pacing in her cell. Ragneer and Ashion were talking through their cell walls to talk to each other. Dracin was concentrating on something. His eyes grew wider and they became slits, His breathing more slowly and deeper. The atmosphere in the place grew heavy. As Dracin breathed out lightning moved in it like it was water. His fangs grew larger and more menacing. Hydra stood on the other end of her cell away from Dracin's cell. Both Ragneer and Ashion looked at Dracin and backed up in their cells terrified. Their memories coming back to them. Remembering that their was more to what they thought of Dracin than what was on the surface. Ashion sitting in the back of his cell wanting to be by Remedy to make sure he could face this. He knew that he couldn't face what had happened. Not again. Not alone. Dracin was now standing before the cell doors and his eyes were red and like that of a lizard. Before anyone could think of what was going on he blew the door off the cell using only his hand by pushing it. He walked out and did the same to the others cells. But not into the cell but ripping them off. Dracin did not speak. No one did. Ragneer, Ashion, and Hydra walked out and Dracin started to walk to the others. Hydra was starting to get worried for Dracin, for she has never seen him like this. Ragneer ran the other way to free everybody else. Dracin started to move faster turning into a run and Ashion and Hydra followed. The two guards that had stopped them tried to block Dracin. But he just stopped and spoke in this demonic voice.

"Do you want to fear something?" He spoke before throwing them to either side and going to the others.

Dracin saw the other three in their cells waiting for something to happen. Remedy clung to the cell door thrusting her head out.

"Ashion! Dracin! Hydra! Over here!" Remedy yelled across the long corridor.

"Stand back and let Dracin do his thing!" Ashion and Hydra yelled back in unison.

Dracin rushed to them and ripped the door off of their cells. Remedy ran over to Ashion and hugged him. Xiu and Ehecatl took a breath of relief. Hydra stood there staring at Dracin. Her eyes were watering. Dracin started to change back. He was on his knees and he was back to normal. Well if normal means a giant demon arm as well as a very powerful being trapped within him. Than yeah he is perfectly normal. Hydra helped up on his feet. Hydra then hugged him. Dracin hugged back and said

"I'm so so sorry. I turned into that." Dracin said that in the tears. Xiu and Ehecatl looked at him. Dracin got up and walked out of the dungeon.

Ehecatl asked "What was that? Who was that?"

Remedy replied. "It was the demon and cursed beast that lives inside of him, Ragnarock. Somehow he controlled it to the point where he didn't go out of control and destroy the entire dungeon. The power he holds alone is enough to scare even the primals, not including Ragnarock. There was five primals to start the universe, and once it was created. There was only 2 left. There was the primal of balance, the primal of purity, the primal of chaos, and the primal of everything. But once the dust settled. There was a new primal, the primal of judgement. He was locked away and forced his soul to split. He had the primal of chaos, purity, and balance inside of him. He still exists as his own entity. I am afraid he has escaped from the prison and is now loose on the world."

Ashion held his head down. Ragneer looked up and started pacing in circles. Hydra had a seat against the wall. Xiu did the same right next to her. Ehecatl confused as ever. But soon the others joined up with Dracin who was on the wall surrounding the kingdom. He was looking toward the horizon which was filled with the orange and dark red of the sunset. The sky slowly turned to a dark blue and you can see the stars litter the sky.

"What a beautiful sunset. I just wish they could have seen it" Dracin said hopping up onto his feat. He looked like nothing had ever happened. His smile was a mask to hide what was behind it. "So to the next country? Or should we go to the king?"

"We would rather get out of here" Everybody else said in unision with a menacing look.

"Okay" Dracin pointed to the sun "We go to the west into the Kingdom of Serpents, then to the Kingdoms of Space, Time, and Reality. Then to the kingdom of the gods. Then we are finally there. The Forbidden Kingdom."
