The Beginning of it All

Chapter Seven: Who has the Real Truth?

        Once they reached the village the air was nice and warm, they have not felt this in a while. Dracin knocked on a bar door the door opened and there were naga's inside of the bar where having a good time. One naga walked up to them and asked

"What would you like to have?" Her voice was innocent

"Three ales." Ashion said.

"Three more" Dracin replied

"So six ales. Would you like some burgers?"

"Yes" everybody said in unison

The naga walked away and asked for six ales and burgers for the group. They found a table and began to talk.

"So let me get this straight. You guys are Primals? Looking for another Primal?" Dracin asked Remedy, Ashion, and Ragneer.

"Yes and we can't sense him and or find him by his aura. If you don't understand why that scares us so much is that. There are set rules in the universe. Those rules bend to his own will naturally. If you look at him you can see everything bending around him, space, time, memory, reality, all of the elements and all of the rules. They all bend around his finger like a ribbon on a stick." Ashion spoke in a deep and soft voice to not draw attention.

Dracin just nodded and looked towards the front counter. There were some shady people in coats and bowler hats.

Ehecatl said " If I knew any better those guys are bad guys. You can almost see the danger coming off of them."

The waitress came back and put everybody's drinks and food in front of them.

"Anything else?" She asked with a smile.

"Yes do you have a map of the region?" Remedy asked the waitress

"Yes we do. Why do you need it may I ask?"

"We are going somewhere and we don't know the land very well."

"Oh in that case I will join you. Because there are some places you need to watch out for."

"Thank you."

Just then the people at the counter stood up and threw their bottles at the group.

Ehecatl shouted " I called it!" Before throwing up a table as a barrier. The waitress slid behind the table and hydra did the same thing. Dracin stood his ground next to the table while Remedy, Ashion and Ragneer prepared to fight them. Xiu and Ehecatl were eating their food at a different table cheering everybody on. Dracin was playing it safe. He didn't engage, he didn't attack. He just stood there dodging attacks. He had noticed that the enemies weren't trying to aim for him there were merely there as a distraction for something better than what these guys are bringing . Just then the ceiling got blown off. Everybody stood guard and then the creature came in and it was the same size as Dracin. It looked up at Dracin and its eyes were a demonic green and purple. It was in a cloak and in both of his hands were daggers the size of Xiu's arms. They were jagged and black. Hydra and Dracin pulled out their weapons and before they knew it the mysterious person disarmed them. Their weapons got stuck in the wall and the both froze and they could see who did it and it was Roluth, The cloak fell off of him and it showed him as a warrior of darkness. He swung his sword and we staggered back dazed that he came back as this monstrosity

"Well, well, well, look who we have here. Hydra, the archer, Xiu, the warrior, Ehecatl, the rogue, And Dracin, the demon's host." Roluth said and looked over at Remedy and Ashion. "And I'm guessing more freaks. Probably primals. But no matter I will kill all of you."

"You can't do that. There are things not even the Lord of darkness could even know. There are primals, gods, and demons. Each kind resides in this room in different people." Remedy said with her arms open.

Then in the blink of an eye Roluth rushed up to Remedy and stabbed her through her chest. Ashion screamed out and roluth let her fall to the ground where Ashion ran up to her and tried to keep her awake. Dracin and Xiu were furious. Xiu grabbed dracin and threw him towards his sword and dracin grabbed it and stuck to the wall like a gecko. Xiu was able to clip roluth by the back of his ankle and make him trip and fall backwards. Dracin pinned him down on the ground as he was falling. Just then there was a piercing scream that sounded nothing like anyone had ever heard. Everybody looked back at ashion who was covered in a black mist so dark that no one could see inside. The sky began to turn black and Ragneer teleported everybody to where he was and put up a magic wall. Just then Ashion was gone and Roluth was looking frantically for him. Just then a giant black claw went through Roluth's chest and it threw him to the far side of the room. We saw the giant black demon.

"That's Ashions Primal form. It is only activated when the other primal to match him is dead. So that means Remedy is dead. But shortly He will be dead too. I will preserve their souls for another occasion." Ragneer said with a tear in his eye.

Dracin looked down. He felt like he had experienced this before. He looked up only to see the entire world covering in flames and ashes. He saw multiple figures. One looked like Ashion in his primal form, one looked like remedy in her form. And there were two others. One was a black night with white pure eyes. And the other was a white knight with chaotic black eyes. Dracin felt the entire universe bend around his being and it was suffocating him. He threw his head back and he saw something in the sky. Just then he threw his head towards the floor coughing up blood. Then he looked back up and saw that everything had settled and Ashions body was next to Remedies body. Dracin got up but he noticed that everybody has passed out. Except for Ashion and Remedy he knew they were dead. He wondered what had happened so he decided to clean up and then go to sleep. He started to pick up various debris from the battlefield. He noticed some of the items were covered in a weird black and white haze. So he put them away somewhere else other than all of the other debris. He layed down on a small bedroll away from everybody else. He fell asleep fast. In his dream he was on an infinite lake. He saw someone that was roughly the same size as him. The figure started to walk up to him it was slow at first but all of the sudden it was right next to him looking him directly in the eye. It said

"Who are you? Do you know who I am? Do you understand what this means?"

"I am Dracin. I have no Idea who you are, or what any of this is." Dracin said

"This is the realm of souls only the most powerful and dangerous souls are allowed to enter. I am Vermilion. They call me the flower of destruction. Or the flower of creation depending on who you ask." Vermillion said. His eyes glowed with a soft scarlet. " You know the entire theory that if someone can create the universe then someone can destroy it?"

"Yeah" Dracin replied

"Well I can do both. It didn't say that two different people the complete opposite of themselves can do it. Kinda like Remedy and Ashion, They are the exact opposite of each other but they still get along because they understand that. But I haven't found my other my other side of the 'coin'."

"What does that even mean? What is the coin?" Dracin said confusing himself more

"You will learn. Don't worry. You are more than what you can see at first glance." Vermillion said touching Dracins forehead causing him to wake up. "Until next time"

Dracin woke up startled and screamed wait. Everybody else was awake they quickly looked at him and they realized it was a false alarm. He got up and brushed himself off. Xiu was getting bandaged by the waitress that had served us. Dracin rose himself off of the bedroll. Hydra was running back and forth trying to help as many people as she could. Most of them were dead mainly from Roluth. Dracin picked up a crate of supplies and brought it to Ragneer who was cooking looking into the abyss of the sky. The stars shone with such brilliance that it was almost blinding.

"Two stars have died today. They mirrored each other. They had hopes and dreams. Which I will now carry on for them." Ragneer said while his eyes were blank slate like a cold, grey stone. Dracin had noticed that he lost something very important to him.

After everybody helped out and cleaned up everything the Waitress had asked to join them on their journey. And they all agreed to let her join. So the group set off into the swamps for a short cut into the Kingdom of Space and Time.
