It has been a few days since they have left the dungeon. They were a short way away from the border into the Kingdom of serpents. The group felt uneasy like they were being watched. In the distance they could hear faint laughing. Ehecatl and Xiu both heard it while everybody else was still walking and talking. Dracin still thinking about what had happened. Hydra talking to Remedy and Ashion about what he really is. Ragneer, he was, walking behind them silently watching Dracin. Dracins mind was racing with the possibility that he was supposed to be this but he shook the thought off and continued to think that he was cursed by some ancient demon to carry that "thing" around with him until the day he dies. The laughing in the distance came closer. Everyone heard it. Dracin still moved forward while the rest had stopped and tried to find the source of the laughter. Then all of the sudden a claw came out and hit Dracin hard enough in the face to send him flying into the group. The rest caught him. The enemy came out of the shadows and revealed itself as a dragon with claws sharp enough to cut a mountain with one swipe. Then a smaller dragon came out of the shadows and it seemed to be using magic. It laughed.
"Oh so you're the forbidden one? That is a joke. You couldn't even block that attack." The smaller dragon said taunting Dracin who was knocked out in the arms of Ragneer and Remedy.
Ashion stepped forward and said " I think it is time we told them the truth and what we really are Remedy. Ragneer." He turned towards Hydra, Dracin, Xiu and Ehecatl. "We are the Primals of Chaos, Purity, and Balance. We are really trying to find the primal of Judgement. Who is me and Remedy's son." He formed into the shape of half a sword. Remedy transformed into the other half and Ragneer ran and grabbed the completed sword. It glowed in his hands. His stance said that he was looking for a fight. Then suddenly there were spheres of wind speeding past Ragneer's head hitting the smaller dragon making him stagger. It was Ehecatl who shot the spheres, He ran and grabbed Dracin dragging him back towards the others. The smaller dragon was enraged and he threw Ehecatl to the side. Ragneer ran up and sliced him across his chest. The cut was deep and there was a lot of blood lost from the wound. The larger dragon threw Ragneer against a tree. Hydra shot them both with a few arrows from her bow. The larger dragon lunged for her but Ragneer sliced his arm off with a clean blow. Dracin woke up and got up holding his head with was bleeding quite profusely.
"What happened? Where is Ashion and Remedy? Why does Hydra have her bow out?" He asked quite confused. He got up and tried to walk away but the smaller dragon tackled him and pinned him to the tree using magic. Ragneer killed the larger with a few more swings in the correct spots. The smaller dragon just laughed and millions of metal puppets came out of the woods. Everybody other than Dracin stood guard. The smaller dragon commanded the puppets to attack the others while he treated Dracin. The dragon slowly began to cast a spell. Ragneer took on half of the puppets by himself. Hydra provided support for both groups attacking the puppets. Xiu and Ehecatl split the rest fifty fifty. As they were attacking the puppets the puppet master began to remove Dracins soul. He screamed loud enough for every kingdom to hear. The smaller dragon laughed as the soul was completely pulled out. Unlike everybody else's soul Dracins soul was frail It was small, it looked void yet filled with something at the same time. His soul was a dark grey it looked drained. Just then the soul exploded releasing a lot of magic energy sending the puppet master flying back. The soul went back into Dracin and he woke up and he was different. The magic bonds broke instantly and he walked slowly, very slowly towards the dragon. The dragon backed up and he tried to Dracin back using magic but Dracin dodged it, left right left right, It was almost a dance. Once Dracin reached the dragon, he picked him up and just in an instant slammed him into the ground so hard it caused a crater twenty feet wide and thirty feet deep. Dracin snapped out of it and looked over to Ragneer and the others with their jaws so low they could eat food off the floor. Dracin jumped out of the crater and said
"What just happened?"
"Well you could be something, but it is unlikely. But you just slammed the puppet master to smithereens. There is nothing of him left." Ragneer said
"Well okay then. And look a village. We should go there and rest." Dracin told everybody his idea.
The group started for the village in the serpent kingdom. They had no idea what was in store for them.
