"So there's an issue that needs to be addressed and I think it's the perfect time to address it." Ms. Trent announced at the circle.
I knew exactly what she was talking about because she was looking right at me when she was saying it.
"Sayra please speak on the issue. "
I cleared my throat and stood up, looking right at Christopher. "Listen nigga , I don't like your fu--"
"Respectfully. " She cut me off.
"Damn attitude . It's making my skin crawl just to see your face right now. What you said to me and Jessie was really fucked up and I think we both deserve an apology."
"Christopher." Ms. Trent gave him the side eye.
"Okay, I apologize ."
"Weak ass apology."
"Sayra!"
"I don't give a fuck!" I raised my voice. "You call me into your office and give me a lecture but all you do is tell this nigga to apologize, and he didn't even give a good one at that!"
"No Sayra I had a word with him like I told you I would. "
"Whatever." I left the circle after seeing Christopher smirking, that really made my fucking blood boil I was getting ready to punch him in his face again.

"Bro she's cute and all but her attitude needa go, I can't deal with that." I told Shakur as I was making up my bed.
"Okay but listen, when's the last time you busted a nut?"
I went into deep thought. He was right.
"Exactly. So go apologize to ol' girl, lay the mack down on her then maybe you'll get some dude."
I guess it was time to swallow my pride. The struggle is real. I left out the room and the first place I checked was the rec-room and to my surprise she was there, watching TV with Jessie on the couch. I sat at the edge of the couch, in the corner of my eye I peeped them glancing at me. I turned off the TV finally to catch their attention.
"What the fuck . " Sayra glared at me.
"I have something to say. " I cleared my throat.
"Oh you do?" She said crossing her arms.
"Yes."
"Well nobody gives a fuck now pass me the remote. "
I guess I deserved that. What I said was fucked up, but I'm damaged goods so... "No can you stop being stubborn and listen."
"Nigga you don't know me."
"I don't care just listen. "
She looked at the clock. "Two minutes, go."
"Okay well I just wanna say I'm genuinely sorry. I didn't mean what I said, I just said it out of anger."
She had her arms crossed, looking at me with a blank stare . "You done?"
"Yeah." I got up from the couch and made my way back to the room. Time to step my game up.

Honestly, I did kinda felt bad after I blew him off after the apology, but then the other half of me was saying fuck him. It's making me feel like shit, and him being so attractive is making this whole thing harder. It wouldn't hurt to accept his apology would it? I mean, God knows how long him and I will be locked in this place together.
The next morning.
Jessie and I sat down in the cafeteria eating our breakfast in silence.
"So I think im going to accept Christopher's apology. " I said suddenly. "What do you think?"
She gulped down her orange juice. "Do what you want."
"Do you feel some type of way?"
"Nah." She threw her tray out and exited the cafeteria .
She did.
"Sayra!" Christopher called my name as I was getting ready to leave myself.
I turned around and walked up to the table which Shakur and August were sitting at as well . "Yes?"
"Sit." He gestured.
"So I'm a dog now?"
"Just sit, damn."
I sat down across from all of them, waiting for something to be said .
"You mad at me still? " He questioned.
"No. You yourself a chance to show me who you really are, Christopher.
"Please, call me Chris. " He kissed my hand .
"MaCKER" Shakur teased.
"Okay then, Chris. No more fighting?"
"No more fighting. "
I nodded and got up from the table, proceeding to leave the cafe.
Could this be the start of something new? 😂
