Today's Saturday, November 14 and ghad! Kinakabahan ako sa gift na ibibigay ko sa kanya.
"Hello, baby?" I heard Mom's voice from my phone nang masagot ko ang tawag niya.
"Mom! Yey, thanks for answering my phone call," ako.
"Always welcome, baby. By the way, what do you need?" si Mom.
"Uh, 'bout that. Hihi, ayos na po ba ang dress ko for the prom on Monday?" I asked her.
"Oh, of course. And pumunta ka dito sa shop so you can check my work."
"Sure, 'Mmy. Ok, bye. Mwa!" and I ended the call.
Nag-ayos na rin ako at saka nagpahatid kay Kuya S papuntang mall.
"I'll be with Mommy so no need to come back," saad ko at ginulo niya ang buhok ko.
"Like humayghad and owemji, Sis. Hindi kita susunduin, 'no! Pahirap ka sa buhay," at umaktong bading pa.
"Tse!" at umalis na ako sa parking lot.
I wore my plain blue dress pero naka-rubber shoes ako kaya siguro ako pinagtitinginan ng tao.
"Look, gals! Guard niya yata 'yung nasa likod niya."
"And in all fairness, ang gwapo!"
"True! Korak kayong dalawa! Kyahhh!"
Nagtaka ako pero hindi ko na rin nilingon 'yung taong 'yun dahil nasa tapat na ako ng shop ni Mommy.
"'Mmy!"
"Oh, anak. Sino 'yung nasa likod mo kaninang lalaki?" nagtatakang tanong niya at tinuro pa ang likod ko.
I looked behind but I saw no one.
"Namamalik-mata ka lang po siguro," natatawa kong sabi.
"Oh, siya! Here's your dress and that one is Zachary's. Might call him para ma-inform siya. And susukatin niyo ito later," si Mommy.
