A/N: Here we goooo!!!

When Camila finally awoke the next morning, she couldn't help the smile that split across her features at the thought of the green-eyed girl, but just as soon as her smile materialized it was swept off her face as the memories of the previous afternoon and night flooded her mind. Disconcerted, she rolled around to come face-to-face with an abandoned bed and Lauren nowhere to be found. Confusion swept over her, causing her to dwell on the accuracy of the previous' nights memories, yet the unmistakable vanilla scent clung to the sheets and the Tumblr-esque surroundings confirmed that she was indeed lying in Lauren's bed. She tried to dispel from her mind the devastating memories of her previous afternoon tending to her biological son at the hospital, vowing instead to place yesterday's events on the shelf for tomorrow's worries.
She mentally deliberated her options, figuring that Lauren's parents would not be thrilled to see that their daughter had a late-night visitor without their knowledge. She debated whether it would be best to climb back out of Lauren's bedroom window and enter through the front door, but acknowledged that she was far too lazy to entertain that idea, let alone actually act on it. Before she even had a chance to develop a plan of action, the bedroom door flung open to reveal a slightly flustered Clara Jauregui whose eyes immediately locked on Camila's own.
"Oh. Camila...hi?" Clara was a little taken aback seeing the young Latina in her daughter's bed. She wasn't quite sure how to react to the fact that Lauren had company over without her knowledge, but she was a reasonable person and judging by Camila's bedraggled state it had been a rather innocent rendezvous. "How are you?"
"I'm, er, good thanks. Do you know where Lauren is?"
"She's downstairs. I actually came up here to get her a change of clothes, she was bleeding. You don't, by any chance, happen to know what happened to her?" Clara asked, a hint of suspicion evident in her sharper tone.
"She hasn't told me anything," Camila somberly admitted. "All I know is that when she climbed in last night she was a mess."
Clara merely nodded and they briefly shared a moment of silence. "You would tell me if she were in any kind of trouble?"
"Of course I would. I'm just hoping it isn't anything like that."
"You and I both, Camila."
Camila focused her gaze upon the comforter that her fingers idly toyed with as a heavy silence once again fell between them. "Well I, um, guess I better get up then," Camila mumbled, her focus moving back to Clara as she spoke.
"Yeah," Clara returned, finally remembering how to program her limbs into moving. She quickly busied herself with selecting clothes from Lauren's wardrobe, while Camila grabbed her bag and padded towards the bathroom.
Just as Clara was about to slip back into the hallway, she paused. "Oh, and Camila?"
The younger girl stopped halfway between the bed and the ensuite, and turned to face the older woman. "Yes?"
"I just wanted to say, thank you."
"For?" Camila questioned curiously, but Clara had already vacated the room before her confusion could be met with answer. Shaking her thoughts away from the issues that seemed to press heavily upon her mind, she borrowed a change of clothes from Lauren's wardrobe and padded downstairs. Her quiet presence was overlooked by the frame of a slightly taller boy, and she quickly found herself colliding with the surface of a young male body.
Green eyes met her own, alluring in nature, but not quite the familiar emerald orbs that often overwhelmed her senses. "Uhm, hi?" Camila mumbled in the form of a question, not recognising the handsome boy that stood before her.
