Tyler's pov

I looked at you. Your messy red hair, your nose ring, your gages. You are a hipster to some, to others your emo, to me you're just good looking in general but I'm not going to tell you that.

"Hey Josh? Can I ask something?" He looked at me "People say that, but they are asking if they can ask a question. It's kinda weird, ask away!" "I know this is kinda weird and you don't have to answer if you don't want to but..." what am I doing? Words are just falling out of my mouth. I don't even know what I'm going to say next. "What's your sexuality?" This is not normal small talk Tyler. Small talk is like, what is your favorite food, or, what genre of movies do you like? You don't ask about someone's sexuality. "You know... I don't really know..." Josh giggled a bit. "I do know it's somewhere between bi and gay, what about you?" He didn't think it was weird.

"M-me?" Josh chuckled "No the other guy who just asked me what my sexuality is. Yes you." His smile is pretty and his giggle is sweet like honey. "Oh, I'm pansexual, and that's not where I'm attracted to pans." He giggled again. "Of course your not attracted to pans, that's cool though." He looked at me, I looked in his eyes. I think I have a crush.

Josh turned away to get something from his bag. He turned back and put a notebook and a pencil on the desk. He opened the notebook but before he could do anything, a friend called him over. Josh closed it "I'll be back, I promise." And after that he walked away. I looked at him, then at his notebook. It was open. I looked at it debating to look through it. I looked back at Josh.

Looking at Josh, then at his notebook. Repeatedly. Not suspicious at all.

I flipped one page. Notes. I looked back at Josh. I flipped another page. Notes and some doodles. I looked at Josh. Flipped a page. A heart, with my name. I flipped back to where it was. I looked at Josh, he was walking back. My heart feels warm and fuzzy. Why does it feel like that? Is Josh doing this?

"Hey Ty!" Josh greeted me with a big smile. "H-hi" I never stutter. Why am I now? "Are you okay?" I looked at him "Yeah." That was SOOOOOOO convincing. He didn't look like he believed me but he smiled anyways. The teacher hasn't come yet and it's been almost 10 minutes. I looked at Josh and debated leaving. I want to leave because it wouldn't be the first time, but I wanted to stay for Josh.

"Hey I'll be right back Josh, if the teacher comes say I went to the bathroom." "Okay" Josh replied with a smile and waved. It almost hurt to leave him all alone. Almost. I picked up my bag and walked to the classroom door. I was about to walk out when I turned back I saw Josh. His red hair shoved messily into a beanie with a stupidily sweet smile plastered across his face. Then I turned back and walked out.
