A few days later...

"So this one has..." The voice of the sales clerk drifted out of my mind as my eyes locked with a menacing pair through the window. My heart began pumping adrenaline around my body, the palms of my hands began to get clammy.

My breathing began to get erratic as I looked at him, a constricting feeling around my throat appeared like his hands once had.

He smirked and took a step towards me injecting fear through my body. My mind instantly ordered my feet to move backwards a step.

Snitches get stitches, snitches get stitches, snitches get stitches.

A large burly man cut my view off making me panic even more, I moved looking around the man to see where Mark was, but the space was empty. He was here, he was close, he's come to ki-

"Luna." Aaron spoke making me jump.

"No! I didn't do anything!" I blurted out causing his confused face to soften.

"Thank you, could you give us a minute?" He asked the man who brushed at his tie.

"Of course, call me if you need any assistance."

Aaron came over to me, letting me grab his arm. "What's wrong?" He asked.

"I- I saw him."

He gave me a concerned look but also looked towards the windows just in case "I think you're exhausted. Maybe you saw someone like him?"

"N-no I saw him. I want to go home. Your home, I don't feel safe Aaron. Please you said." I panicked.

"I know, I know what I said but we've been hiding for days now. You need fresh air."

"Then I'll open a window, please I want to go. I need to go, he's out there,"

"He isn't. Look at me. I'm right here with you, nobody is going to get to you. Okay? Just keep that in mind. Now you gotta find a camera."

"I don't wa-"

"We find a camera and we can go on a lockdown, which means out of Vegas for a week." He bargained.

I shook my legs before willing myself to move and find a camera wanting to get out of here quickly. Aaron called the sales clerk back and we slowly sifted through the majority of cameras until I picked up a Nikon, twisting it around in my hands.

"That one." Aaron answered immediately.

"Huh?"

"It's the first camera you've touched since being here and actually smiled about. That one."

I looked at the price range and my smile didn't last. "Oh no, no this is way too much." I blurted.

"We have payment plans-"

"We'll pay in full." Aaron replied making the clerk nod.

"Aaron!" I hissed.

"What? Can I buy my girlfriend a present?" He asked handing over his card.

"No! No. A present is flowers or, or, or flowers not a $3000 camera!" I snapped.

"You want flowers too?" He asked.

"No, Aaron please." I begged.

"Okay fine, you can pay me back. When we work you can help pay it off that way cause I'm not taking your money."

I pondered "Fine what will I have to do?"

"Be my thunder buddy, snuggle pal, and maybe do the occasional errand for me."
