"How did this happened?" I said quietly more to myself.
"You know that Nolan has been getting a lot of coverage lately. He is rumored to sign a record breaking contract this off season" Marcus answered.
"Still how did that happened?" I said pointing to the TV.
We were in my living room it was about 8:35 in the morning and Marcus had run to my apartment after seeing the latest news.
"Nolan Arenado was spotted having a make out section with an unknown Brunette" read the tittle under a picture of me and Nolan kissing. He was holding me close and both our eyes were closed, we looked like two teenagers in a High School parking lot.
"This is just what I needed!" I let out a frustration scream.
"You have to relax, they don't even know your name"
"Yet, is a matter of time. I didn't want Noah to be exposed to this just yet"
"Lexi, breath. This was going to get out regardless. You have to tell Noah that Nolan is her daddy."
"I want to tell her but I don't know, how she will react to the news"
"She is about to be four and she is about to find out that her favorite baseball player is her dad. I think she will be really thrill"

"We have just find out that Nolan Arenado's fling is Alexis Vega, sources confirm that she works for the Boston Red Sox Organization" I catch my breath as I heard the information coming from the TV.
"This is not good, next thing you know they will say that Nolan is Noah's dad" I said still looking at the TV.
"Is he really?" I hear Noah's sleepy voice coming from the hallway. I turned to find my little angel looking at me with sleepy eyes and her hair falling all over her face.
"What, honey?" Marcus asked, since I was still in shock.
"Is Nolan my dad?" Noah asked while walking towards me. Marcus gave me a sorry look.
"Noah, baby-" I start but then I stop because I have no idea of what to say.
" Mommy, is Nolan Arenado my dad?" There were no words for me to say my mind was blank so I just nodded my head and waited for my daughter's reaction.
"Is he going to live with us now?"
"Noah, baby. Your mom is going to explain everything to you later but now you got to get ready for your game" Marcus came through.
"Yes Uncle Marcus!" She said right before running to her room.
I turned to look at Marcus. His expression was amusing.
"Can you explain what just happened?" I asked not sure of where I was standing.
"I guess she knows now"

Marcus took Noah to her softball game and I was left alone, no long after I got a call from my boss saying that we should today before the game. It was a Sunday but The Red Sox vs Rockies was ESPN's night game so it was set to start at 8:00 that gave me some time to think about how I would explain this situation to him.
I heard the doll bell ring and walked rather slowly to it since I wasn't waiting for anybody to come and visit today. My heart skip a beat when I saw Nolan standing at my door.
