Evangeline watched as Adrian rushed out of the dorm room after the strange man. Romulus, what a strange name for this time, but then again people were always looking for strange names for their children. One thing she knew for sure was that Romulus was absolutely predatory. The way he walked to the way he talked, his body language was that of a lion. His eyes were probably the scariest, they were so akin to the color yellow which Evangeline would usually think was impossible. They must have been some weird shade of green that they appeared yellow in the artificial lighting. She really had no idea what to make of the whole ordeal.  Adrian was acting so strange like the man repulsed her but she went with him willingly. Evangeline shook her head to clear her thoughts and climbed out of bed.

She went to her closet and pulled out a knee length t-shirt dress that was pale pink. After putting it on she pulled on a pair of nude tights to protect her legs from the autumn chill.  She grabbed her old beat up leather jacket and slipped on a pair of converse. She knew Adrian told her not to leave but there was no way he was staying inside all day.  plus she figured it would be best if she left the room just in case they came back. Evangeline grabbed her Ipod and using the wifi sent a message to Jeremy asking if he wanted to grab some coffee.  She caught her bottom lip in her teeth as she waited for his response.  She usually wasn't this forward but she needed to get her mind off of her weird dream and Adrian in general.

Evangeline brought her attention back to her Ipod as it pinged alerting her to a new message.

    From: Jeremy DeNagio

'Coffee sounds great! I'll meet you at the cafe in 5 :)'

She smiled at her Ipod and replied to confirm she was on her way.  She snatched up her backpack and left the room. She ran down the stairs but slowed her pace when she reached the lobby so she looked normal. The cafe wasn't far from her dorm, it was about a block away located on the first floor of the library. She figured that maybe her and Jeremy could work on some home work together since they shared a class.

The library was quieter than usual since it was the weekend and a lot of kids went home or were partying.  She walked into the cafe and ordered a white chocolate mocha Then took her cup and sat at a table next to a window.  She gazed out at her campus, the surrounding trees were beautiful and all the different colors seemed to lighten up the area.

"Hey, what's up?" Jeremy's voice broke her from her thoughts as he sat down across from her.

"Not much, just enjoying the scenery" She answered softly with a smile.

He returned her smile and seem to get lost gazing at her face. She blushed and cleared her throat snapping him out of his thoughts.

"Sorry..you're just very beautiful"

Evangeline choked on her coffee and quickly wiped her mouth with a napkin. Jeremy chuckled with a smile on his face, she could tell that her face was beat red. No One had ever been that forward with her before. Then again she wasn't around many people for most of her life.

"So uh how about we get some of this homework done for class" Jeremy said with a knowing smile.

Evangeline nodded at a loss for words, she smiled shyly at him and pulled her notes out of her backpack.  They began looking over the notes and coming up with good ideas for the essay they both had to write.

Adrian was walking across the street from the library, she could see Evangeline sitting with a boy in the cafe. She specifically told Evangeline to stay inside today, why did noone listen to her. Adrian huffed in annoyance and grabbed Romulus' arm pulling him down a side street before he could spot Evangeline.
