love;
is it the way you drown me
and teach me
how to breathe water?
is it the way you put a gun to my temple
and teach me
not to fear the trigger?
is it the way you steal my breath in a kiss
but turn my body alive with a fingertip?
is it the way your heart of stone
opens only to mine?
or is it the way
you make me glad
that i'm alive?
