I opened my eyes slowly and my eyes landed on Christian. His eyes closed and earphones stucked on his ear. He held me tightly in his arms and how did I ended up like this?
I slowly pushed his arm aside and got up slowly.
"Where are you going?" I froze when I heard his voice
"Trying to runaway again?" He asked as he pulled me back to his arms. He held me tightly without opening his eyes
"I didn't sleep, I was afraid that you might runaway again. I'm trying my best to stay awake now until you wake up"
"What?" I asked and he opened his eyes looking at me. He took off his earphone and put it aside.
"I'm right, you're trying to sneak out again without saying anything" He said and I sighed
"I need to go, you have work too right"
"I take a week off, I want to drop you to LA" I looked at him crazy
"We agreed that last night was the last, no need to-" He shut me by kissing me. I was shocked with his sudden action
"Christian stop" I pushed him away and sat straight up. I looked to the window not wanting to see Christian's face. I got up from the bed and quickly took my bag and clothes from last night. I walked out from his room and decided to call Nial to pick me up.
"Taylor, please" I froze when he called me
"It's over, I don't want to see you again" I said but he held my hand
"Give me one more chance" He said and I turned to him
"I don't want to have that pain again, Christian. Once is enough to prove that you're an asshole. I don't need to give you a chance because you will repeat it again"
"I won't.."
"You will, let's just end everything here. We're done" I said looking at him one last time. I walked out from penthouse and took the lift to the lobby.
"Pick me up at Hastington Hotel" I said to Nial as he ansnwered my call
"I'm here already" He stated and I walked out to see Nial already waiting for me. I smiled to him and I got into the car
"You okay? You're wearing his shirt? Did you-"
"No.. Just don't ask me anything about him" I said and Nial nodded
"When are we going to go back to LA?"
"At 1, you still have time to take a shower and etc"
"Okay, thanks" I said and I leaned back. I sighed and closed my eyes. I hissed when Scared to be Lonely by Dua Lipa and Martin Garrix played.
I opened my eyes and looked at the times square. I'll miss New York because I won't come here for awhile to avoid Christian. I don't want to re-remembering the memories.
Not long after that.. We arrived at our house and I immediately got off from the car. I walked inside and immediately got a questioning eyes from my parents. I just sighed and greeted them. I walked up to my room.
I went into the shower and just stayed there for a few moments to clear my head. I walked out to see my mom sitting on my bed waiting for me
"Hey mom" I said and she smiled
"You okay?" She asked
"I guess so"
"You stayed with Christian last night" She stated and I nodded. I sat in front of her and she held my hand
"It will be the last time for us to spend time, he wanted it" I said
"You still like him huh? A lot?" My mom asked me and I found myself nodding
"He broke up with me because he wanted to close the deal by dating the daughter of the dealer. He wanted money that crazy until he said that I was in his way. Then why did he date me in the first place?" I hissed
"He wanted freedom and now I'm giving him freedom but he wanted me and freedom at the same time. What a dick" I added and my mom caressed my hand
"He's still not understand the value of that feelings yet, Taylor. So if he really wants you back, he will prove it. You'll see"
"I'm done with him mom, I'm tired. He kept hurting me"
"People can change because of the mistake they made, Taylor. Just like your dad"
"Dad? What did he do?"
"He dated me for deals only and he took my V card and left me after that" What?!
"No way" I said disbelief and she nodded
"Well we went through a lot of process and he changed. Sometimes people need process" She smiled
"Dad was like that? Geez, I can't believe I have a dad who acted like my ex-boyfriend" I hissed and my mom chuckled
"Sometimes we need to throw them from the highest cliff to make them realize that they're wrong and they just threw away us the most precious jewels"
"They need to learn their mistake and what they missed" My mom added
"You're a really cool mom" I hugged her and she chuckled
"I am"
"I hate dad" I mumbled
"It was all in the past, he loves me lot now" She defended him
"He loves you too much now"
"Of course, where will he get a girl like me?" I laughed
"Now.. Just live your life like normal. If Christian is the one for you, he'll come around" She said
"I was hoping for a new guy to come around not Christian again" I said
"You can hunt for a new guy" She winked
"You're bad mom"
"I was a badass at some point. I needed to punish your dad and I went bad" I laughed
"You're so cool"
"Of course I am"
"Next time if Christian come around, tell me and I'll tell you my secret" She whispered and I nodded smiling
"Thanks mom"
"Welcome, now go get dress so we can catch our plane"
