Today I am starting high school, again. I moved from a different school and I was scared. Well it's a new school, new start right? Wrong because I woke up this morning, and I got dressed. Then I saw my reflection in the mirror. "Well one thing hasn't changed I still look ugly." My mirror was always there not just because I needed it to do my makeup, even though I did, but it always seemed to point out my flaws. I finished getting ready and finished my makeup then I looked in the mirror again, " I look a little pretty right? No, nevermind I still feel ugly." I decided to ignore it and grab my bookbag and head to my bus stop. As the bus came I decided that this was gonna be a bad day, because all I could think about is how ugly I thought I was. "Well here's the bus." I sighed. As the bus came to a complete stop the door opened and I got on. Well the good thing about this is that there are free seats on the bus. I decided to sit in the third seat from the front. I put in my headphones and tried to forget about how I looked. Well I didn't get to listen to my music very long because a girl sat next to me and tapped on my shoulder. I took off my headphones and looked at her. She had long blonde hair with blue eyes, she had pale skin with freckles on her face, I feel like she may be popular. "Hey I'm Sarah! I'm in tenth grade, I haven't seen you around before you must be new. Don't worry this school isn't as scary as it seems." She was so energetic, but how could she be this early in the morning? "Uh....hi I'm Mary," I said. "Well nice to meet you Mary this is the perfect time for a selfie!" "uh n..n...no thank you I don't really like to be in pictures." I said. " Why not your beautiful? I wish I had your long wavy brown hair, and your sparkling hazel eyes." "no, no you don't. Your way prettier than I am." She wouldn't listen she took out her phone and took a photo of us. "Ms.Rieder put your phone away." the bus driver said. "Why don't you focus on your driving you old witch." a guy in the back shouted. I think he was a tenth grader, but I'm not sure. We arrived at school, I went straight to the bathroom and looked in the mirror. "Nope, still ugly I don't know what that girl was talking about. Well I better get to class.
