Eli convinced me to get help, so I did. I was getting better. With Eli's help I was learning to love myself. In school though I couldn't stand it. I wanted to fit in and I wanted to be with the popular girls. I tried to dress right, talk right, you know stuff like that. I got a new outfit this weekend and I thought it was cute. So Monday I walked in with my hair up and my new clothes on. "Look at that girl, what is she wearing its horrid." "She is so ugly," I heard whispers as I walked down the hallway. "Hey girl, why are you wearing something so ugly?" a girl who was one of the girls whispering came up to me and said. "What?" I replied. "Its because she wanted to wear something as equally ugly as herself." another girl said. They laughed, these were popular girls so they must be right. I ran to the bathroom in tears though, Eli chased after me. "Mary don't cry, they are just jealous," he said to me. "Jealous of what? They're right I'm ugly!" I screamed. "You are not ugly you are extremely beautiful." he told me. "You're just saying that!" I shouted. "No I'm not I promise I'm not lying." I couldn't think straight. I told him I was going home, and I did.
