Shelby's pov-
Max goes up to his room. I go upstairs too I wanted to tank him for helping me earlier. He thought I couldn't see him but I could. I went upstairs and opened his door. "God dammit Ross what do you want." He realized it was me and said "oh sorry.." there was an awkward silence and then I just left I can tell he didn't like me that much. I didn't get to tell him thx. I go to my room cry a little. But softly sob so no one could hear me. I run to the bathroom. Everyone thinks I'm happy but I'm not. I bottle up my feelings and when I need to I just let them all out. I grab my Swiss Army knife and make cuts for things I'm ashamed of. I'm not loved- in ugly-I'm annoying-I'm fat. I make a total of 4 cuts looks like I'm wearing long sleeve tomorrow. I clean myself up and make sure there is no blood anywhere. That made my feel much better. I walk back to my room and I go to bed.
The next morning-
I wake up and go down stairs. I make myself some cereal. Ross comes down and then Tim and then Max. I'm wearing my long sleeved shirt and sweatpants along with a beanie.
"Hey guys." I say trying to sound as happy as I can.
"Hi Shelby wait when did we have actual food in his house?" Tim asked.
"Um since me and Ross went shopping when I first came." I say.
"Oh ok!" We all get done eating and we leave.
"Oh yea by the way Shelby Jess said she is gonna come visit us at the office!" Ross said.
"Really my best friend is coming!"
"Yeah so let's go!" We start the car and we drive off. Omg I get to see Jess today and I get to ask her what she meant over text. But just then my favorite song comes on. (Listen to the song cause like it is the perfect song I'll try to put the lyrics in)

That's my favorite song and it kinda reminds me of something but I can't put my finger on it. I realize I was singing the whole thing and Ross and Tim were clapping" thank you thank you." I giggle and we arrive at the office. I practically jump out of the car and ran to the door. I walked in to see Jess standing there. I jumped on to her. "I can't believe I'm seeing my best friend for the first time!"
"Me either!" We stand there hugging until the guys come in with my stuff.
"You want to help us decorate my office?" She nodded. We went to my office with Ross and Max behind us. I had all sorts of stuff in my boxes. I had fairy lights posters and all games along with some extra shelves. We did everything and then we finished. "So Jess what did you mean by opposites attract?"
"U-uh um well opposites attract to each other."
"But what does that mean what are you intending when saying that?" She looks out my office window and to max then back to me. "Are you thinking what I think your thinking? Jess he thinks I'm annoying and sometimes I think he is kinda scary."
"I know it's just that's what happens to a lot of people."
"Oh Jess." I shake my head. I look out the widow to see Adam walking around with Tyler. I put my hood up and I close the blinds." Jess go out there and tell Adam not to merino me at all I'll explain later just go!"
"Ok." And she walks out.
Jess's pov-
I walk out and over to Adam. "Shelby said not to mention anything about her and she also said she would explain later. I whisper to him. He nods. I walk back to her office and go in. "Ok I told him not to mention you so explain."
"Ok so it all started when me and Tyler dated. He cheated on me and abused me. I broke up with him and moved to California. He followed me so I moved here but he ended up being in the same plane as me. I didn't look his way the whole trip. And now we are here I do t want him to know I'm here let's go talk to em. We need to make sure it not in any vids with him."
I nod and we walk over to Em's office.
Shelby's pov-
"Hey em can we come in?"
"Yeah come on in." We walk inside.
"Ok em can you make sure in not in any videos with Tyler. He is my ex boyfriend who cheated on me and abused then he followed me here."
"Ok wow yeah I will make sure if it!"
" thx em your the best!"
"I know I am." And she flips her hair and we all laugh. Me and Jess walk out of her office and back to mine. Then Adam comes running into my office.
"Explain Shelby!" He said as he sat down.
"Ok so it all started when me and Tyler dated. He cheated on me and abused me. I broke up with him and moved to California. He followed me so I moved here but he ended up being in the same plane as me. I didn't look his way the whole trip. And now we are here I do t want him to know I'm here." Then I looked at Adam. "Don't tell anyone especially Ross!" He nods.
"Wait you haven't told Ross?" Jess asks me.
"No he would kill Tyler he is like my overprotective brother." She nods and then Adam leaves. I can hear someone outside talking to him.
"Who's office is that Adam?" The guy says I realize it was Tyler.
"Oh that's Jess's office yeah." He says I think Jess heard it to so I hide and Tyler walks in. Jess is sitting my chair.
"Hey Jess haven't seen you in a while!"
"Yeah hey I have to get to work so can we talk later?"
"Yeah sure!" Then he walks out I come out from hiding and I sit on my bean bag chair.
"that was close."
"Yeah it was!" She says with a worried expression on her face.
"What's wrong Jess?"
"He is gonna try to talk to me all day so your gonna have to keep hiding."
"Oh no." Ok now I'm afraid cause earlier Adam invited all of us to go to Olive Garden cause they have a new member. I thought it was me. I'll go ask him in a while.
" what if Ross or someone else mention you to him?"
"I never thought about that!We got to go ask Adam about dinner tonight!" We walk out of my office very quietly and to Adams he wasn't that far away so we made it. We walk in. "Adam is Tyler going to be at the dinner tonight?"
"Not that I know of."
"Ok thx Adam!"
"Np!" We were about to walk out of his office when I hear the door opening. I hide being Adams couch just in case. I can hear some one walk in and talk. "Hey Adam I accidentally got your schedule Ana answer me this honestly. Does a girl named Shelby work here?"
"Uh um why would you ask such a silly question?"
"Because I've been trying to get back together with my girlfriend named Shelby and I know she moved here."
"No her name is Megan we just call her Shelby as a joke cause we always get her name mixed up." Nice save Adam. Just then I hear Ross and Max walk in. Oh no.
"Hey Adam have you seen Megan we were gonna go to lunch with her and Tim?"
"Uh no sorry."
"Oh ok we'll find her." And then they walk out thank God Ross always calls me Megan.
"I'm gonna go get my actual schedule bye Adam bye Jess!" And then he walks out I get out from behind me the couch and me and Jess run to my office. We run in and then Ross and Max come up from behind us.
"Jess and Jess #2 come on let's go to lunch and talk!" I grab my phone and purse then we leave. I'm finally out of there." Shelby just thought you should know we knew you were hiding in Adams office. Explain?" Ross says as Max doesn't talk. He never does.
"I can't!"
"Please Shelby I want to know."
"Tell me you won't do anything to anyone!"
"Promise!"
"Ok Tyler is my ex and has been following me cause he wants to get back together and I'm trying to hide from him that's why I'm wearing a hood."
"Why did you guys break up?"
"H-he... he cheated on m-me and.... a-a-abused me..." then I started crying.i felt Ross give me a hug along with Jess. Then max and Tim joined in. We all let go and kept walking to the car. We get in Max driving me in the passenger seat for some reason. And Ross, Tim, and Jess in the back. I turned on the radio and my song came on again.(listen to same song)
"Didn't we just hear this, this morning?" Tim asked as I was singing. And I get that same feeling that this song was part of me in some way. Weird. Maybe I should tell Jess later.

Ok guys this chapter is way to long but I was really bored. I was so bored today I wrote 3 chapters. So yeah I'm gonna like go read some instead if write some now so yeah. 1925 words again your to lucky.
