Beach day

Shelby-
When I wake up I see Jess on her bed looking at her phone. She looks over at me. "Shelby what happened?"
"I-I lost the baby..." I say tearing up again.
"Oh my god I'm so sorry." She comes over and hugs me.
"It's ok what are we doing today?"I ask.
"We are going to the beach!"
"Oh."
"Is that ok?"
"Yeah I just don't really like my figure."
"Oh well you don't have to go in the water and you can just keep you clothes over your swimsuit."
"Ok thanks Jess." I walk over to my things and grab a bikini. (At the top^^) I go into the bathroom and change into it. I walk out and put my bathing suit cover on and walk out of the room. When I get down stairs everyone is ready. I slip on my sandals and we leave to go to the beach. When we get there I set up a chair and sit there. I watch mason while I can see everyone playing in the water. I sigh and continue to play with mason. Aleasa comes over.
"I can watch him you can go be with your boyfriend." She says.
"Nah its ok I don't want to go in the water." I reply.
"Why?" She asks.
"I don't like me." I say.
"Oh Shelby you look fine are you sure you don't want to go in the water?"
"Yeah go be with your husband I got mason."
"Ok see ya later." She replies with a smile and runs back to the water. I sigh and start playing with mason again. I end up tearing a little. Mason looks at me.
"Auntie shumpie." He says in a baby voice.
"Aleasa!" I yell to her. She comes out of he water and over to me.
"What's wrong?" She asks.
"He talked." I say.
"Auntie shumpie." He says again pointing to me.
"That's what he said before."
"You were his first words Shelby." She smiles. I see Adam coming over.
"Aleasa what's wrong?" He asks.
"Shelby were masons first words."
"Auntie shumpie." Mason says again.
"Aw just like me." Adam exclaims picking up mason.
"I'm sorry." I say looking down.
"Why?" Adam asks.
"I took away a special moment." I say.
"No Shelby it's ok." Aleasa says hugging me.
"No... this isn't right... why am I terrible?" I ask. I get up and run to one of the cars. I lock myself in. "Why do I ruin everything!?" I yell. "I ruin special moments, I'm constantly getting attention when I shouldn't, people try to have fun and I ruin the fun!!"
"Shelby let me in." I hear Aleasa say. I look out he window to see her with worry in her eyes. She sees me and smiles. I unlock the door and go to the opposite seat. She opens the door and gets in the car. "Shelby are you ok? You need me to bring you home?" I nod. "Ok let me get Jess then we can go home." I nod again. I get out of the van and go into the smaller car. When Aleasa and Jess get in the car I just sit there in silence. We get back to the house and I run inside. I go upstairs and into my room. I get under the covers. I slowly cry myself to sleep.
Jess-
"Ok so what happened?" I ask Aleasa.
"Mason said his first words which were auntie shumpie. She got upset and said that she ruined a special moment. Then she got in the car and locked herself in. She kept repaying that she ruined our lives and that she doesn't deserve the attention she gets."
"Really she said all of those things about herself. I say we have a girls movie night." I say.
"Yeah we should but for now let's let her sleep her worries away. It always works." She replies and walks to her room. I go to mine and Shelby's room. When I walk in I looked at Shelby and it looks like she cried herself to sleep. I sit next to her and move the hair out of her face. I wipe her tears then walk to my bed. I go on my phone.
