The kiss!

Shelby's pov-
Dream-
I walk through the forest. I continue walking until I hear rattling in the bushes. I walk over the them and look over he top of them. I see a guy kneeling down. He stands up. It's Tyler and he has a knife in his hand. "You should have never broken up with me Shelby. Now you have to pay." I run as fast as I can. I end up falling into a ditch. "Snitches are bitches with stitches that end up in ditches." She walks over to me and throws the knife at me. Then all I can see is black.
Dream ends-
I wake up. I look over at my clock it's 2 in the morning. I can't fall back asleep. I don't feel safe. I get up and go out the door. I go to Ross's room. I open the door and he is covering the whole bed. I walk out. And I breathe. I walk over to Tim's room and I open the door. He is also filing up the whole bed. I walk out and to Max's room. I open up the door to see he is awake and on his phone. "Oh Shelby hi."
"M-Max."
"What's wrong Shelby?" Then he pats on the bed for me to sit. I do and I start to cry. He pulls me in for a hug. He was so warm. "Did you have a night mare?" I nod. He pulls me in tighter and rubs my head. "What happened?"
"H-he was t-there and h-he had a knife. H-he threw it at me. I-I don't feel safe anymore Max I just want to be gone."
"Don't leave me Shelby who else will be there to keep all of us perky and happy?"
"I just want to die."
"No Shelby don't think like that." I realize I'm not wearing my long sleeves. I turn my arm right side up so he can't see the cuts. I think he notices and he grabs my arm. "S-Shelby
w-why?"
"Because I deserve to die I keep everyone from doing what they need to do. No one loves me no one cares. This is for being annoying. This is for being ugly. This is being not loved. And this is for being fat." I say pointing to each cut. He pulls me into a big hug.
"Shelby you are none of those. Your beautiful your loved by many you are just perfect."
"I'm the complete opposite max I'm a waste of time and space no one cares about me not even my parents." I end up crying into his chest. A lot like a lot. I feel safe in his arms. He will never feel the same. He lifts my chin up.
"Shelby even if they don't I do." Then he kisses me. I don't pull away. We stay like that for like 10 seconds until he breaks the kiss. "Shelby don't say you are worthless cause it's not true." He continues to hug me.
"Max is scared."
"Why?"
"Cause I don't want to go back to my room I don't feel safe in there."
"Do you want to sleep in here?" He says blushing a little. I nod and lay down.
"Max."
"Yeah?"
"Thanks."
"No problem Shelby now sleep I'm tired." He takes off his shirt and I blush a little."sorry."
"It's ok." He lays down next to me and puts his arms around me. I feel safe.
"I won't let him get you."
"Thanks Max." I say tearing up a bit. His chest is so warm. I nuzzle into him. Does he really care for me. No you idiot he feels bad for you. Get out of my head. I'm only telling you the truth. Then I fall into a deep sleep. I dream. I don't have a night mare for once. I have been having them ever since I got here. I nuzzle into him again. Do I love Max? Then I fall into a deep sleep.
Ross's pov-
The next morning-
I wake up and I go to Shelby's room to get her. She isn't in there. And she isn't in the bathroom. I walk into Max's room to see Shelby in his bed. What's going on? "What hen hell is going on!?" Shelby wakes up.
"Ross.. huh.. what do you want?"
"why are you in Max's bed?"
"Cause I had a night mare and you and Tim were filling up your whole beds."
"Oh what happened? Nightmare?" She nods and wakes Max up.
"Max wake up."
"I don't wanna."
"We have to go to agency zed!" He jumps up.
"What is the mission today AGENT SHED?" She giggles. I look at them confused.
"More like agent food!" I say looking at Shelby.
"Hey!" Shelby yell. Max chuckles.
"Anyways let's get ready." Shelby says and runs to he room.
Shelby's pov-
I run to my room and go to my closet. I pick out and outfit. I put it on and go to my bathroom. I'm. It wearing a long sleeve so I put a bunch of makeup on my cuts so you can't see them. I also put makeup on my face. I pick up my brush and start brushing my hair. I hear a knock on the bathroom door. "Come in!" I see Max walk in.
"Shelby are you ok." He says looking at my arms. "Where did they go?"
"The power of make up!" He chuckles.
"Ok well I'll see you down stairs and one thing?"
"Yes?"
"You are not worthless you are just perfect." Then he kisses me. I was shocked. But I didn't pull away he did. "See you down stairs!" I think I'm actually loved. Are you kidding me he is obviously faking it. He feels bad for you. I know what was I thinking. I grab my knife and make two cuts. One for being stupid and thinking He loved me . And one for being me. Good you understand. I clean up everything and my arms. I put make up on the cuts I just made. I walk out of the bathroom and into my room. I grab my purse and phone. I walk down stairs to see the guys eating waffles.
"Hey I want some."
"Oh miss shubble coming right up." Tim gets up and walk to the freezer. He makes my waffles.
"Thank you." I say giggling.
"Your welcome m'lady!" We all eat our waffles and then we leave. We only take one car this time. We are driving and closer by the chainsmokers comes on. Me and Max start singing. He has a really good singing voice. Unlike me. When I sing it sounds like a llama is dying. Ross and Tim applaud us and we make it to the office. I get out and run in. I grab my schedule. And run to my office. I feel safe in my office. I should tell Jess about the kiss. Ill text her I need to talk.

S- hey Jess I need to talk. Can you come over here?
J- depends what is it about?
S- your ⛵️
J- I'll be over in an hour!

Dun dun duuuuun. Any ways hope you like this chapter I'm very proud of it because THEY KISSED TWICE! Ehem anyways. I'm gonna probably write on my other story so go to that one too. But yeah ok 1290 words man I'm not on my A game currently I'll try to do better but for now baii!!
