Ross-
I know Shelby is hiding something from me but what? Does she not trust me anymore? Did something happen? Did max do something to her? I swear. "Hey max what's up with Shelby?"
"U-uh I don't know." He says back.
"Are you sure you stuttered?"
"Yeah I don't know all I know is that she has been sick but I'm sure she is fine."
"Ok it just seems like she is hiding something from me..." he puts his arm around me.
"It's fine let's enjoy this vacation ok?"
"Ok!" I play on my phone and max drifts off to sleep.
Time skip-
When we were landing I woke max up. We landed and we walked off of the plane with everyone. Adam called for two Uber's. They took us to the rental car place where we rented a mini van and a Prius. We got in the cars and headed towards where we were staying. It was a house. A four bedroom house. Of course I was stuck rooming with max. Jess with Shelby. Red with Barney. And Adam with his family. We all went into our rooms and put our stuff away. I couldn't help myself I had to go ask Shelby what was wrong. I get up and walk to hers and Jess's room. i walk in and say "Shelby we need to talk." She looks at me and Jess walks out the door. "Why have you been acting weird lately?" I sit on Jess's bed.
"I'm always weird Ross."
"I mean weirder than usual. Like you are hiding something from me."
"I'm not Ross I'm fine."
"Shelby you have been sick but you are still here in Hawaii."
"T-that's because I didn't want to miss coming here."
"Shelby come on I know something is up now what is it?"
"I can't tell ok."
"Why I want to help so why can't you tell me I'm your cousin. You are like my sister. Why can't you tell me?"
"You know I didn't think you were actually dumb. Doesn't it all add up to you. I've been throwing up but I'm fine after. I've been eating a lot. I've gone to the doctors. Are you that stupid Ross?! You know what you wanna know. Ok I'm pregnant and I don't know who the father is! It's not max so I don't know! You know what I can't do this I need some fresh air goodbye!" She snaps at me, gets up and leaves. My cousin is pregnant? How did I not notice? This is to much to handle. I walk out of the room and go to mine. When I get in the room I jump on my bed and go under the covers. I start to cry a little.
"Ross what's wrong?" Max asks me as he sits in my bed. I get out from under the covers with tears in my eyes.
"I'm a bad cousin."
"No your not what happened?"
"She told me. No she yelled at me. How could I not notice?"
"Oh yeah I'm sure she is fine." He says and holds his arms out for a hug. I sit up and hug him back. "Now how about we go get lunch?" I nod and get up. He ruffles my hair and we leave the room. We walk down stairs and asks Adam if we can take the Prius. He gives us the keys and we leave. We go to subway.
