Clash Of Wings And Fury. I Became A Dragon (Part 2)

Negotiations.

King James and three of his staff sit across a table from six humans, this was the negotiations to avoid war. Unfortunately the meeting had been at a stalemate for three days.

One of the humans shakes his head and says.
"This is not going anywhere, perhaps we are asking for more than you are willing to give. We want you to make the location of your lands public."

James growls and says.
"You want to make my people slaves. I will not make the location of my lands public, I will not do that my people are not going to be slaves."

A female gasps and says.
"We are not going to make your people slaves! I can not believe that you actually think that, I find it offensive that was even said. And what's worse is that you would even think we would do that."

James looks at her and says.
"You know the history of the people of this country as well as I do. Not to mention the fact that humans think less about what they consider to be an animal. So don't tell me that humans would never make my people slaves, because you know that I'm right."

The lead human of the negotiations says.
"I agree that it is offensive that the mention of slavery was even brought up, but what if we could assure you that will never happen?"

James shakes his head and sighs.
"You know as well as I do you can't keep that promise. You know you can't keep my people from being made slaves."

The humans nod and sigh knowing that James was right, they couldn't keep that promise, or even attempt to keep that promise.

James looks at the humans and shakes his head and sighs heavily.
"Listen, we have had a rough and busy last few days. Let's end the meeting today and pick up again next week on Monday."

The humans nod in agreement.
"We agree James, that is a good idea."

As James was gathering his things a dragon walks in and says.
"Your majesty. The humans have attacked, hatchlings were killed."

James looks at the humans and growls.
"What are you thinking? This proves that you can not keep your promises, you promised that we would never be attacked and what happened? You wanna kill hatchlings so be it, if you want war then war is what you get." James and the other dragons walk out.

The lead human of the negotiations looks at the other humans and says with fear in his eyes.
"We need to find out who did this and why. We can not afford to go to war with the dragons. I'll call the president and inform him of this, we have to stop this now before it gets out of hand."

James sends a message to the president demanding an apology from him, and a warning that if this isn't dealt with immediately war was coming.

The president responds by calling for the surrender of the group known as Dragon Slayer, he also has them listed as domestic terrorists. That puts Dragon Slayer on the FBI watch list and also puts them on the CIA persons of interest list subject to wire tapping and surveillance. Dragon Slayer is listed as public enemy number one and anyone who is with them or supports them is forbidden to be on or around any of the dragons land, if they were found on dragon land they would either be arrested for trespassing or killed on sight if they posed a threat.
