Erutan

Erutan was sitting in the main hall in the Temple Of Fire. She had been made Royal Advisor to James. Feeling overwhelmed with everything James goes to the temple to speak with Erutan.

Authors Note Erutan is owned by erutansfires, and she will also be playing the part of Erutan.

James smiles as he walks to meet with Erutan. Although he was in a good mood, something was weighing heavily on James. He needed the advice from a trusted friend, James knew that he could always trust Erutan to put his mind at ease. Walking into the temple James looks around and says.
"Erutan, are you here? I need your advice on something."

Erutan was sitting quietly in the main hall. It looked like she was meditating.

James looks at Erutan and sighs.
"It's about the current situation. I don't want to just give up, but I'm starting to think that my daughter Athena is right."

Erutan slowly opens her eyes and looks up at James. "She is James." She replied softly. Reaching down she picked up a small black remote and extended her arm towards a large white screen. Clicking on a button the screen lit up blue before starting to slowly flash pictures of every creature that had ever went extinct due the mankind.
"This is what humans do out of greed or misunderstanding." She stated.

James watches in horror as the images flash on the screen. As he watches tears start to fall from his eyes.
"This is so wrong, Athena is right. We need to completely stop working with the humans. They are not going to stop until they wipe us out."

"James you have worked so hard to make this work and you have many humans that are working with you." She tried to reason. The final image appeared on the screen and it was their home planet. " Perhaps it's time to go home James." She understood that he wasn't dragon born but he was more dragon than most. "Perhaps we can take a select few with us. But under pure secrecy." She suggested.

James looks at the planet on the screen and says with total confusion.
"You.....you mean dragons are not from this planet? But I wasn't born a dragon, and neither was my sister Jenny." James thinks a few moments and nods.
"I agree Erutan, Jenny and I became dragons because our lives as human were filled with pain and hate. Erutan try to make contact with any dragons that still live there, I'm going to make preparations to carry out your plan."

"As you wish," she nods respectively. Standing up she heads for the door. She knew exactly where to go. Heading towards the dragon elders. Knocking on the door softly an elderly dragon answers the door. "Welcome Erutan I've been expecting you. Please come in I have a hot pot of Dragon tea ready for you." She smiles motioning inside.

James picks his most trusted among the royal guard and tells them of the plan. With a nod they say.
"As you wish your majesty. We will begin immediately." The guards quickly discuss the best way carry out the plan and walk off to do as James had said. Now James had to decide what humans were going to go with them.

Erutan sat with the old dragon and listened to her tell her story. Very respectively and curiously keeping quiet. Contacting the other dragons would take a deep meditation. After a few hours the old dragon fell asleep and Erutan slipped out.

James had started getting supplies and anything else that might be needed to travel home. The one thing James forgot to ask was how far their home planet was. James knew it would be impossible to get space suits for the humans and remain unnoticed. James smiles and chuckles, if anyone would have an answer for this it was Erutan. Another question was how was he gonna choose what humans went with them and how was he gonna get them ready for a interstellar trip? Then it hit him like a bolt of lightning, the dragons technology was centuries ahead of the humans, teleportation was the answer. James knew that the scientists had been working on a secret project, one that was kept even from him. Walking into the science lab James looks at the scientists and tells them of the plan. With smiles and chuckles the scientists open a door and one says.
"We have been waiting for this day. We have made contact with our home planet and made preparations."

James nods as he looks at the teleportation machine.
"How soon can it be ready to go?"

The lead scientists smiles and says as he opens a panel.
"We can be ready to go in 15 minutes. Just give us the word and we will get started."

James nods and says.
"Excellent. We are taking a select few humans with us. After the last one goes through I want this place destroyed, I don't want the humans to be able to use it."

The lead scientists nods and says.
"As you wish your majesty. The selfdistruct will be set, it will render everything in this lab useless."

James nods and smiles as he walks to the door.
"Be ready at a moment's notice. We may be leaving as soon as tomorrow."

James goes to Erutan to tell her the good news.
"Erutan we have a teleporter. We can leave as soon as the chosen humans are selected."
