Chapter 6

Manik after listening what Nandini wants did undo every damage but in return he asked for a chance to be given to him. A wooing chance. He will make sure he concentrate on showing her the world he could give her and today is the first day of that wooing chance.

Manik got ready for his wooing date where he is planning to take Nandini to a cool place, i.e. amusement park where he knows he can make Nandini live her childhood but after work. The girl said she fist want to complete office work and then try.

Such an misandrist, I tell you.

"Okay, let's go." Nandini finally after a lot of persuading agreed to go with him though she still feels they can do a lot work than this.

Workaholic, I tell you.

Manik looked at Nandini and smiled at her taking her to the first ride that he booked completely for them. He can't handle fussing in a line or waiting with people who might hurt him or her.

Nandini looked at all the arrangements he made and saddened at seeing no one playing around. Isn't it just too high class and also high class wastage of money! So Manik-ish thing.

Nandini agreed to the ride and it was a simple ride of merry go round. A big merry go round.

It wasn't fun because there was nothing to laugh of look at. Manik was happy to look at her but being at the top of everyone, to look down and seeing nothing but lights and only lights with so loneliness made her cry about this date.

It wasn't fun for her. She likes people around her, all the time. In orphanage, she used to have everyone around her. Playing, running, laughing and dancing. Everything with a lot of people who cared and loved her. Funnily even unknown people used to be around her.

Right now, this loneliness around them is making her yearn for people and she looked at Manik who was looking intensely at her.

"Manik sir, it's not how I would like a date at all. I am sorry but this is all, here, is making me sad. It is making me remember my life that I have been alone for a long time and I dont want to be alone anymore." Nandini stopped explaining when she saw the merry go round stop at the top and Manik looked at her smilingly.

"I know you don't like it but this is something that I can give you. I can't give you a life where you can roam all the time with fun and no care of the world." Manik pointed towards the road "look there, we are not alone at all Nandini, camera's follows me everywhere, wherever I go, I have to be followed and you know the worst part, they think they are hidden but i know they are not. I can see them, know about them but I act like I dont care. I do, Nandini, i do. They make me seem a casanova, just because i change secretaries..."

"It is like whatever those secretaries say are true but nothing that I say isn't. A secretary said I used her and threw her away, I sue-ed her and won the case but got the title of ruthless casanova. Other businessman's daughter would try to sleep with me when I have particularly denied such kind of things but they still offer me Nandini..."

"There are girls who don't kiss but tell, who kiss and tell more. There will always be people who would make you see what I am not and you know the fact, you would believe it. No matter what I say, they would make me a liar. Today, I didn't wanted to take you to a date but rather on a place where I can show you who I am but what people shows me. I won't lie, that I didn't kissed before, I did but never in business. It was in my college, the girl was my first girlfriend but it didn't workout and we went different ways. I do want a relationship to last..."

"So here's two option for you, you trust me and I give you the world you desire and I desire at the same time or you don't trust me and I show you why people shouldn't challenge a person like me. I like you a lot Nandini, I have not known you much but I know that you don't hate me. You didn't like me when I hurt you bestfriend but you don't hate me at all."

Nandini looked at Manik and at the people who were waiting for one fault of theirs to make them a big news for some stupid hour.

Manik was right, his life was nothing but an entertainment series.

Manik looked at Nandini and finally the merry go round moved and they both got off it soon. Nandini and Manik left for office and as they reached Manik's office, Manik started taking off his belt making Nandini stutter and she looked at his midriff and some time even lower.

She pointed her finger at him shouting "what the hell, Manik!! What are you doing?"

Manik turned towards her and questions what when he completely took of his belt and forwarded his hand towards her to which she looked at him shocked.

Manik shook his head and moved towards her side making her step backwards and he walked till he pressed her to the glass wall behind her and bend his head down when she looks at his face and closes her eyes but feels nothing for even once.

She looked at him opening her eyes and Manik moved away from her making her release the breath she was holding onto. She then noticed that Manik took his new coat from the side and a belt to match and changed his suit.

Nandini looked at him and wanted to bang her head on the wall, embarrassed she noticed him smirking and ran out of the office but as she was running out, she remembered some work and again turned back to enter but the glass door closed on her face hitting her forehead.

Definitely the worst day.

She looked at Manik who looked constipated with laughter and said "you can laugh." Manik couldn't keep the laughter and started laughing a lot. She just went away stumping her leg and Manik who remembered that now he shouldn't anger her as his marks will decrease if she got angry on him.

How much efforts a guy has to make...
