I came back home around 11:30pm i had to stay with my mom in the hospital after work i was really hungry and tired and my eyes were really puffy, Olivia really looked excited when she saw me...."you came home really late today that's unusual said Natasha collecting my handbag, i had lots of paper work to do that's why am late i replied smiling i didn't want Olivia to notice i have been crying so i kept avoiding eye contact with her...Tasha guess what? Yelled Olivia smiling happily, you know am not good at guessing so just tell me i replied trying to wrap my towel around my chest, come on Tasha just guess please!.....Oli just tell me i really need to take my bath i replied trying not to sound angry....Anderson is back, its not been long he left replied Olivia smiling and jumping on the bed...Anderson is Olivia's boyfriend he is a solider and has been away for almost a year because of his military training...."Wow when did he come back? I replied, i was really happy for Olivia at least she wont end up being bored and lonely like me, wait a minute have you been crying? said Olivia coming close to me as she looked me in the eyes..Ermmh i have not been crying i just had a little headache that's why my eyes are swollen i replied bending my head ...Tasha i have known you since my childhood and i can tell you are lying to me said Olivia looking into my eyeballs..."Oli am not lying i have to go and take my bath i replied with tears in my voice, the look Olivia gave me was so annoying i had no choice than to speak up... Ok fine am lying
My mom has cancer....what? Cancer how did that happen?Hope its not metastatic said Olivia sadly...it Is Metastatic i replied as i wiped the tears on my cheeks she just has 2weeks to live....Tasha don't say that she will make it i have seen patients in my hospital with stage 4 cancer survive and i know your mom is not any different, miracles still happens.
I woke up really late as usual i was so exhausted....hey good morning Tasha hope you slept well said Olivia smiling and walking towards my bed side with a tray and breakfast in it and a red rose "wow Oil you didn't have to do this i said collecting the tray from Olivia as i smiled at the breakfast which consisted of hot coffee, toasted bread, potatoes chips and pancakes ,anything for my bestfriend replied Olivia handing the rose flower to me, thanks for the rose flower its so lovely i said inhaling the scent...the rose is from Richard he said he is been calling you but you are not returning his calls and he also said he is very sorry about the other night said Olivia checking out her outfit in the mirror "i don't need the rose you can keep it i replied folding my arms....Tasha can you just stop all this nonsense already the guy already said he is sorry he is not even meant to be apologizing cause he didn't even kiss you so why are you being angry with him, yelled Olivia angrily.....Oli am not angry with him so please don't yell at me i replied angrily"then move on with your life Natasha Williams and stop dwelling in the past you are just 23 enjoy your life yelled Olivia am off to work say me hi to your mom i will come over later and see her, then she grabbed her car keys and left the room......Deep down my heart i knew Olivia was saying the truth i had to move on with my life but it is so difficult for me it just felt as if Chris took my heart and everything i had, it was so difficult for me to fall in love again.
"Natasha guess what? Said Chris grabbing my waist from behind and planting a kiss on my neck as i sliced some vegetables i was preparing dinner when Chris walked in he really looked excited....you know am not good at guessing Chris tell me whats exciting my baby i replied turning to face Chris...i finally got the contract sweetheart for the road construction in America said Chris carrying me in bridal style "so you are going to leave me for 2months i said with tears in my voice, Baby am not living you i can never leave you am gonna come back you know how much i love you right said Chris putting me on the coach as we cuddled each other, do you really have to go you know how much this road construction stuff scares me especially that of America,why cant you just accept the contract they gave you here in Vegas, you know it was in America your colleague terry died i don't want to loose you Chris i said sadly.... Natasha you are not going to loose me i promise immediately Chris kissed me...i love you so much Natasha, i love you too Chris
i accompanied Chris to the airport the next day i refuse to speak to him through out our ride to the airport as soon as we got to the airport we both stepped out of the car, as Chris brought out his luggage from the car trunk i started crying...Come on sweetheart don't do this am gonna come back i promise,come here said Chris opening his arm he also had tears in his eyes then i ran into his arms and hugged him then he kissed my head"i will miss you i mumbled i will miss you more i promise to call you everyday okay! Said Chris wiping the tears on my cheeks,then we kissed each other for about 5miniute. As i watched Chris enter the plane my heart broke into pieces that was the last day i saw Chris"
Immediately i snapped out of my thought as i heard the door bell i quickly wore my short under the T-shirt i was wearing and rushed to open the door, Hello Natasha said Richard sadly, hey Richard what do you want i replied harshly, can you at least tell me to come in said Richard with a frown on his forehead...then i opened the door widely for him to come in, i noticed he wasn't wearing his normal office cloths, instead he was wearing a T-shirt and a short with sneakers that was the first time i saw him wore something casual, so what can i do for you? I said playing with my hair, Natasha please can you give me one reason why you are angry with me?...Richard am not angry with you am just having a rough time right now, do you mind sharing your problems said Richard....as soon as i rose my head to reply Richard i noticed he was holding Chris framed photograph, Richard can you please put that photograph where you saw it, "this must me be Chris i guess said Richard still staring at the photograph....yeah that's Chris i replied snatching the photograph from Richard, he looks great,i was wondering if you could join me for lunch, but before that you said you are having a rough time do you mind telling me about it said Richard raising one of his eye brown, i fought with my inner mind whether to tell him or not i felt that if i told him he will just end up feeling sorry for me and i didn't want that from him...."My mom has cancer the words came out of my mouth freely, oh my God , how did that happen and how come you are just knowing about it hope its not in stage 4 though...its already in stage 4 and i just found out about it recently i never knew she was even sick that's whats hurting me i said sadly.....don't worry she will be fine said Richard patting my shoulder...About lunch i will make time and join you i have to go and have my bath right now am already late for work thanks for the rose you sent and for dropping by i don't mean to be rude but i think you should take your leave i said heading towards the door direction...Fair enough then i will see you later at that same place we had lunch the other time.
It was already time for lunch and i know i was already 45minutes late, Richard had called me four times already....i arrived Beverly hills Restaurant quite late "Am so sorry for keeping you waiting i had lots and lots of paper work to work on you know how your cousin can be right? I said taking off my coat it was really chilly outside.
Richard and i had a great time getting to know each other better, suddenly a lady with brown hair and black eyes approached us she was putting on a very short sexy dress which exposed most of her cleavage, she also looked really angry immediately she got to our table she sat on Richard's laps and pecked him on the lips, i just sat there looking confused, suddenly Richard bursted out into anger...what the hell is wrong with you Amy and what are you even doing here?...For crying out loud Richard am your girlfriend and you don't even treat me like one, well i guess its because of this sloth you have not had time to call or even check up on me yelled Amy. Before i knew what was happening Amy emptied the cup of coffee on my head which trilled down to my face and dress i controlled myself from hitting her,i quickly grabbed my bag and headed for the door, Richard immediately followed me behind and kept calling my name till i got to the car pack....Natasha am so sorry said Richard trying to wipe the coffee stain from my cheeks , don't you dare touch me i yelled , i immediately got into my car and drove off to see my mom in the hospital.
