CHAPTER 15

"Go ahead and open it said Mr Walter, I quickly opened the envelope he gave  me and brought out the paper and read the content in it I was so glad to see what was written on it I was finally promoted after waiting for so long  out of excitement I hugged Mr Walter really tight "thank you so much Mr Walter am so great full I squeaked, "that's enough Natasha you are not suppose to hug your boss this way you could turn him on yunno  replied Mr Walter giggling, "you would need to improve on your punctuality cause you will be doing most of the work I do from now on and no form of clumsiness or laziness will be condoled so you have to be at your very best.

I was so glad when Olivia's colleague at the hospital sent me her new home address I really needed to see her cause I have missed her so much it wasn't easy living without her I had practically nobody to share my problems with since she left and I must confess my life have been really boring without her. I drove to Crescent street after work that was where Olivia stayed, in one of the big apartments there I knew she always had taste for classy things. When I got to her apartment door I hesitated a little bit before I knocked on the door " what if she still angry with me I mumbled to myself , then I knocked without minding what she would say, I knocked for almost ten minutes  before a teenage girl opened the door she looked 19 she dyed her hair red and she had so many piercing on her ears she was wearing a crop top which also revealed the piercing she had on her naval, "how can I help you? She said staring at me with a smirk on her face. " Am here to see Olivia Carlos I replied grinning, "And who are you she asked, "I am Natasha Williams her best friend I replied weakly.
The young girl finally let me in after asking me so many questions, the sitting room smelt of alcohol and cigarette I waited patiently in the sitting room for almost 10minutes before Olivia came out, she looked really miserable her eyes and face were swollen she even lost a lot of weight she had tears in her eyes when she saw me sitting on the couch I quickly stood up from the couch and went to hug her she smelt of  alcohol she didn't hug me back  I unwrapped myself slowly from the hug and looked her in the eyes " Oli what happened to your face it looks really swollen I said tilting her face gently and you don't look fine at all I said sadly "Natasha I want you to get out of my house this minute I don't wanna see you just go away please! " I have missed you so much Oli please am sorry if I did anything wrong to you my life is so boring without you please come home with me bestfriend I said wiping the tears on my cheeks, "Tasha please just go away I don't want to see you screamed Olivia. I didn't want Olivia to be more angry with me so I quickly left, on getting outside I felt really sad seeing Olivia like that then i knocked on the door again I knew my best friend needed me right now and I couldn't just go and leave her like  that, the red hair girl quickly opened the door, " She said she doesn't want to see you so please just go away she said angrily, "please can you tell me what's wrong with her she looks really horrible  cause i know my bestfriend doesn't drink or smoke I asked with so much curiosity and what's your name if you don't mind me asking  "first of all my name is Whitney Carlos am her younger sister replied the red hair girl "Omg you are Oli's younger sister the one that stays in Boston  with your parents I said with so much surprise cause I remembered when we were still in grade school Olivia would always tell me she had a younger sister and her parents were planning to get divorced that was why they brought her to Vegas to stay with her aunt, she never grew up with her parents " its so good to see you Whitney, can you please tell me what happened to my friend I know Olivia doesn't drink or smoke but she looks really different, "Natasha I can't tell you anything right now Olivia told me not to tell anyone anything about her, she's been drinking and smoking  that's all I can tell you for now replied Whitney sadly, I could hear Olivia screaming Whitney's name to come inside "Ermmh i have to go now Natasha it was nice meeting you.    

I drove back home really sad, it was sad seeing Olivia like that all the years i spent with Olivia i knew her to be the stronger one between both of us it was so sad seeing her break down like that and there was nothing I could do about it I just hoped Anderson has nothing to do with what she's going through.
I was so bored at home I couldn't just spend my Friday night eating and sleeping, I decided to surprise Richard by going to his office. When I got to his office his attention was outside the window his hair looked really messy, he didn't even notice my presence I tiptoed quietly and hugged him from behind his body felt really warm i could inhale his strong cologne he was really startled and turned quickly to see who was behind him.....
" Hey! Natasha you startled me what are you doing here said Richard with surprise written all over his face, " I decided to come and surprise my boyfriend I replied smiling...that's so sweet of you, immediately Richard sat down on his chair and pulled me gently to sit on his lap he wrapped his hand around my waist and yawned tiredly. "You look really tired I think you need a break that's why I came to take you out I said playing with his tie, Richard quickly kissed me on the lip I wasn't even expecting that at all, I also reciprocated and kissed him too his lips tasted like cappuccino and his tongue like caramel While we were still kissing a young lady of about 25 years or so badged in on us I quickly got up from Richard's laps and bent my head shyly " I have told you so many times to knock before entering my office, Patricia yelled Richard angrily, "Am so sorry sir I came to give you the files you requested for plus its almost time for the Annual General Meeting said Patricia rolling her eyes, she looked really  rude. " But Richard I thought we were suppose to spend time together its Friday and am bored I grumbled childishly, "Sir! Everyone is already waiting for you at the conference hall said Patricia looking at me with so much disgust. " Patricia I think we will have to reschedule the meeting I need to spend time with my baby said Richard smiling at me, "but sir this is going to be the third time we are rescheduling this meeting and I don't think the board members are going to be happy with it said Patricia with a frown on her forehead,                " Patricia can you just do what I asked you to and get out of my office am the boss here remember!
