CHAPTER 17

My door bell rang around 3am, I was so scared to go and check who was at the door, for crying out loud who would be knocking at someone's door by 3am I mumbled angrily. I couldn't bear the sound of the door bell ringing continuously anymore I sermoned courage and went to check who was at the door I was so shocked and surprised to see Olivia at the door with her luggage's she had tears in her eyes she looked really miserable her hair was in a mess and her eye bags were looking really swollen she quickly hugged me and sobbed bitterly on my shoulders she was unable to talk she kept shivering and crying I took her to my room and laid her on the bed so she could sleep I had never seen her in such state before I rubbed her back gently so she could sleep when I was convinced that she had fallen asleep I went outside to get her luggage's.
Olivia woke up earlier than I expected she was awake before 6:30am she curved herself on the bed like a little child with her eyes widely opened, I dashed off to the kitchen at once to prepare breakfast I made toasted bread with scrabbled eggs and two cups of hot chocolate I took the breakfast to the room
"Oli breakfast is ready I said placing the tray on the bed, but she didn't say anything she sat up right and rushed her food immediately, it was really weird seeing her eat so fast as if she hasn't eaten in ages after breakfast she didn't still say anything. " Ermmh Oli are you okay? I asked With so much curiosity, but all she did was cry again, I felt really sad seeing my best friend this way I quickly went close to her and hugged her, the vibration from my phone broke the silence between us I knew I was already late for work when I saw Mr Walter's name on my screen I quickly went to the bathroom and had my bath after that I dressed up I decided to wear something really causal today I wore a skinny black jeans and of my favorite T-shirts' from Chris "Oli I have to go to work now I will see you when I get back from work just in case you are hungry the fridge is stocked I love you! Then I pecked her on the forehead and dashed out.

" Miss Williams how many times do I have to tell to be punctual am tired of repeating myself can't you just obey simple instructions given to you yelled Mr Walter angrily "am so sorry Mr Walter there was an emergency at home that's why I'm late i replied, Mr Walter angrily gave me some files to work on and cross check if any adjustment needs to be done. When I got to my office I saw a parcel on my table it was a big box wrapped in a beautiful sheet with a ribbon on it and a note saying " I want you to put this on for dinner by 7pm" i quickly opened the box it was the most beautiful gown I had ever seen it was blue in color the style was very unique I knew it was going to be a perfect size when I saw the size on the tag I smiled happily at the gown I knew this had to be from Richard, immediately my phone rang it was Richard I quickly answered the call "Hey beautiful hope you got my gift said Richard, " yes I did and I love the dress you really have a good taste I replied giggling happily as I admired the dress, "I'll pick you up by 7pm hope that's OK by you, " yeah sure perfect time I replied.

After work I drove back home in order to get ready for my date, Olivia was still on the bed and on the same position where I left her she didn't even know I was back she was totally lost in her thought "hey Oli am back I said smiling but she didn't say anything to me she just smiled weakly and went back to her thinking, I decided not to force her to talk I know she would talk when she wanted to . After taking my bath as soon as I stepped out of the bathroom Olivia said " Tasha am 4weeks pregnant then she bursted out into tears I was so shocked when I heard what she said I rushed to where she was sitting and consoled her "who is responsible for it I asked sadly........ " its Anderson and he doesn't want the baby he doesn't even want to see me or talk to me, and my parents don't want to have anything to do with me cried out Olivia. I was angry when she said Anderson wouldn't even want to talk to her or want her to keep the baby and her parents who were suppose to stand by her at this period had also forsaken her "Am here for you Oli I'll be here for you and the baby and I know you will be a great mom I said wiping the tears on her cheeks, " I didn't plan on being a single parent... remember when we were kids we would always say and promise each other to get married on the same day and even give birth the same time but now am going to be a single parent cried Olivia, I was so sad that tears rolled down my cheeks I hugged her really tight it was so mean of Anderson to hurt her this way, out of anger I quickly wore one of my sweat pants and tank top grabbed my car keys on the table and rushed out of the house Olivia called me and asked where i was going but i just ignored her I quickly shut the door behind me............... I drove to Anderson's house I was still able to remember his house address even though it's been ages since I went there I packed my car at the parking lot and went straight to his door I knocked angrily on the door until he finally opened the door as soon as he opened the door I landed my palm on his cheeks which made a great sound I slapped him twice on both cheeks "Natasha what the hell is wrong with you yelled Anderson angrily as he held his cheeks in pain immediately his girlfriend rushed to the Door to see what was going on she was only wearing a bra and a loosed towel around her waist " how dare you hit my boyfriend she said angrily, "will you just shut up and get back inside I replied, "Holly just go inside I can handle this said Anderson rolling his eyes, then Holly went back inside. " you have no right to hurt Olivia the way you did I lashed out "heaven knows I have never loved Olivia i told her so many times but she wouldn't listen to me, Natasha you have always been the one on my mind since high school said Anderson looking into my eyes " just shut up Anderson we are talking about my best friend whose feelings you hurt and not me... then why did you get her pregnant I replied angrily "I already told her to abort the baby I don't want it said Anderson sighing. I tried my possible best to convince Anderson to accept Olivia and the baby but he refused he kept saying he doesn't love her and he doesn't want to have anything to do with her this was really difficult for me cause it made me really sad that Olivia wasn't herself anymore. Anderson and I said our goodbyes then I rushed back home cause I had a date with Richard.....
The dress was a perfect fit on my body it brought out every single curve on my body " wow your dress is lovely said Olivia as soon as she stepped out of the bathroom are you going on a date? she asked with so much curiosity, "yes dear, Richard is taking me out I replied trying to style my hair, " you are really lucky Tasha you always have good and responsible guys coming your way unlike me who everyone wants to use and dump said Olivia with tears in her eyes, "Common Oli don't say that I said sadly wiping the tears that rolled down her cheeks.
