CHAPTER 20

The D-DAY was finally here it was my engagement party day, I had to go to the spa for pedicure and manicure, a massage and a makeover courtsey of Richard's mom she insisted I do all of those , I was so lazy to get up from the bed, Richard was still sleeping like a baby beside me I enjoyed looking at him sleep he was the cutest thing ever, I quickly planted a kiss on his lips... I suddenly felt at peace with myself knowing that I won't regret marrying Richard I finally had to make up my mind and let Chris go cause I knew he was gone and will never return no matter how much I miss him so I had to make use of the opportunity to love Richard with all my heart since he really loved me too, as soon as I kissed Richard on his lips he opened his eyes slowly and smiled, "see how beautiful my wife looks he mumbled, I smiled shyly and kissed him again, he quickly reciprocated and kissed me back, he gently took off my night wear leaving me with just my under pant then he cupped my breast, kissed my neck and off we went, we had sex that morning.... "You just seduced me Mrs Tyler said Richard putting on his shirt "I know you enjoyed it I chuckled.

I had to quickly rush to the bathroom brush my teeth and take my bath  Richard was already ready and waiting to drop me off at the spa, I packed my hair in a loose bun, wore my jeans and t-shirt. The engagement party was scheduled for 6pm but Margert insisted I start getting ready so as not to delay, I also invited Olivia to the spa cause I knew she will really love it "bye see you later I said to Richard as I stepped out of the car, "just call me when you are done I'll come pick you up, love you!
I was so happy to see Olivia she was already waiting at the spa her bump was looking bigger this time around "Ermmh why does your bump look bigger today it wasn't like this when I left the house I giggled "Hey don't even start let the pregnant lady be replied Olivia laughing. We quickly went to have our pedicure "hope you are finally happy that you guys are getting married said Olivia raising one of her eye brows up as she always do "yeah I just feel so at peace with myself right now unlike before, I feel like am making the right decision and am finally let Chris go so he can rest in peace I smiled, "wow am really happy to hear that from you, I can't believe you're actually getting married am so happy for you best friend.
After the whole spa thing I called Richard to come pick us up but Olivia said she had to go to the hospital so she didn't follow us..."oh shit I screamed out loud inside the car, "what is it are you ok? Asked Richard looking terrified, "I need to go pick up my dress I totally forgot about it I said angrily, "don't worry I will drive there but you need to be fast cause your make up artist is already in the house waiting, "what makeup artist? I said with a frown on my forehead "mom brought a highly recommended makeup artist to come make you up mumbled Richard..why would Margret even bring me a makeup artist when I can do my makeup myself .  Richard drove me to the designers shop I got out of the car quickly and ran into the shop "Brooke, Brooke is my dress ready I yelled, "hey Natasha calm down you're yelling and yes your dress is ready replied Brooke tiredly . Brooke has been my designer for almost 3yrs now and she was really good at designing clothes, she knew what will fit your body and the perfect outfit to make... She quickly handed me the dress in a bag which had the name Brooke's designs written on it, I didn't even bother trying it on cause I knew it will fit i just paid Brooke and left the shop. "Your phone has been ringing the whole time and it's my mum I think they're all waiting for you said Richard turning on the ignition.
As soon as we got home I quickly ran to the bathroom to shower I became tensed all of a sudden as I showered I felt so scared after bathing I wore a bathrobe applied some cream to my body and called in the makeup artist to the room "Ermmh hey about the makeup I just want something really light not to glamorous just something I'll be comfortable in I said looking at the makeup artist weirdly, cause she actually looks weird she had tattoo all over her left hand and her neck,she had a pink hair I wonder where Margert got her from and I hope she can actually do the job ...As soon as we started the makeup Margret walked into the room she was already dressed she wore a red fish dress and she looked absolutely gorgeous "wow you look stunning I said with surprise written all over my face, "thanks dear, you guys need to hurry up with the makeup it's already 6:30 and some of our guests are already at the event center so please be fast about the makeup said Margert, "Margret can you help me call Richard I wanna talk to him I said "alright I think he's downstairs I will just call him........."wow my babe is so hot exclaimed Richard smiling happily, I couldn't help it but blush, "why are you still in your bathrobe you need to put on your dress said Richard lifting me up from the chair, I could feel the makeup artist eyes on us I wonder why she was still standing there "hey can you excuse us said Richard with a Stern on his face as soon as she Left I told Richard to put me down so I could see my face at the mirror..it was really beautiful, simple and perfect I looked so different and I felt really pretty from the eyebrows to the eyeshadow, mascara , eyeliner and lipstick everything was perfect the way I wanted  "am really starving Richard can I get a bottle of soda please I mumbled tiredly, as soon as Richard left to get me the bottle of soda I wore my black balloon gown which was strapless and exposed my cleavage Brooke did a good job I said to myself then I wore my red  Louis Vuitton heels.

We got to the event center 5minutes late the whole place was filled up with adults, teenagers and children and the  decorations was splendid it felt like I was in paradise, the lighting too was just beautiful I felt really shy and tensed I felt like this was my first time walking on heels my legs were wobbling , when Richard noticed I was tensed he held me by the waist while I put my hands on his arms.

Then the party started I was happy when I saw most of my classmates from college and highschool I guess Olivia invited them cause I didn't remember inviting any of them I had to say hello to almost all of them, Olivia looked really gorgeous in her short tight royal blue dress she looked sexy in her pregnancy, I quickly went over and hugged her "wow you look so beautiful Oli now I feel like being pregnant I said smiling "oh common stop it you're the one who looks prettier said Olivia shyly , Richard quickly pulled me softly by  my arm and said he wanted me to Meet some of his friends, his friends were really good looking we talked, laughed, shared memories of our childhood and so much more "babe I will just step out for a bit I need some fresh air I whispered to Richard....I walked out really fast cause I didn't want anyone to call me or say hello I was really tired of greeting people, accidentally someone poured a glass of wine on my dress "oh my am really sorry I didn't mean for that to happen said the person,the voice sounded so familiar, a cold shiver quickly ran down my spine and goosebumps appeared on my hands I was scared to raise my head up , when I finally raised my head up to confirm who was talking to my greatest surprise it was C-h-r-i-s .....At that instance I froze.
