"Holy speed limit, Batman!" Claudia shrieked from the back seat of the van. "I recall you being a good driver!"

"The sooner we get there the better," said Myka, her foot forcing the gas pedal to the floor.

"Yes but I'd prefer to be in one piece," she shot back, gripping the seats in front of her. Pete looked over to Myka.

"See? It's not just me," he said. Myka rolled her eyes.

"Fine," she grumbled. The car slowed, but still shot across the dirt road at an alarming pace. With Myka's crazy driving, they were at the edge of the ghost Warehouse in no time. They unloaded their supplies from the trunk, the tesla, snag bags, goggles, and of course, Pete's bat.

"Dibs," said Claudia snatching the bat. Pete and Myka looked at her curiously. "I'm going to show Sykes a good time if he shows up. For Steve." They both nodded. Pete smiled.

"Will all of you hurry up? I haven't got all day!" cried an irritated voice in the distance. Artie was waving both of his arms frantically at the trio; standing in what used to be the dark vault.

"We musn't upset the dinosaur," smirked Claudia. She jogged toward him, yelling "Calm down, old man!"

"Calm down?" he snarled. Even far away, Artie's rage was obvious. "I have been waiting for almost an hour! And only one of the people I wanted shows up!"

"Am I not enough?" she cried, still running, tesla in one hand, bat in the other. Myka chuckled, stuffing her tesla into her holster and placing her goggles over her eyes. Pete took a deep breath, grabbing his tesla and goggles.

"Hey, Myka, can we talk?" he asked, heart pounding.

"Not the best time, Pete," she smiled. "Later, OK? We'll fix everything and then we can talk." She took off after Claudia. Pete sighed, slamming the trunk. It's not like she was wrong. But it's not like Claudia was wrong either. He ran after both of them. Eventually the three agents stood by Artie, catching their breath.

"OK, we're gonna need to use the zip-line more," panted Pete.

"Listen," muttered Artie. "I don't know exactly how this works. MacPherson and I used to fight over it, but we never got to do anything. But if I'm right, then we will save H.G., we will save Mrs. Frederic, and we will save the Warehouse. But, we will also save Sykes. Are you prepared?" Claudia smirked. Myka nodded.

"Ready," agreed Pete. The four of them stood, four corners in their perfect circle.  Pete felt Myka's shoulder pressed against his right, and he looked at her as he heard Artie to his left, clicking the pocket watch and repeating him.

"Ready."
