Myka and Artie dropped the unconscious Pete into one of the chairs in Artie's office. The other was occupied by the 70's girl Myka and Pete had met earlier. Her long red hair was swept over one shoulder. She wasn't giggling anymore.
"Artie?" she asked.
"Julie?" Artie walked over to the girl, both of their mouths open in shock.
"I hate to interrupt this interesting reunion which I will question later, but I need to reintroduce myself to someone. Hello, my precious!" Claudia sighed as she down at the computer. "I have missed you so!" She began typing away furiously, a frown slowly spreading across her face. "Artie! The computer is older than you! Artie?" She turned. Artie turned away from Julie.
"Huh?"
"The computer reverted back to the stone age thanks to the watch. It's like the first model the Warehouse ever had."
"I will ask the regents to get a newer model," he answered, turning back to Julie.
"Thank you," Claudia rolled her eyes. "Look at this! It's like a techie's worst nightmare!"
"How do you two know each other?" asked Myka, leaning on the chair Pete was slumped in.
"She ran the inn before Leena," answered Artie. "Then she tried to start a nuclear war with the Soviets." Claudia looked away from the computer. Myka stared at her, incredulous.
Julie nodded. "What's up?"
"Why on earth would you try to start World War III with Russia?" asked Myka.
"I wasn't actually going to drop an A-Bomb on them. They had a few members of Artie's family left. They refused to hand them over. So I... Well, wouldn't you do anything for your partner?"
