A/N: Sequel to My Abusive Boyfriend

Kol and I were sitting and talking to each other at the Grill over drinks.

"You in a mood for some bourbon?"

I think and say "How much bourbon are we talking?"

He responds with a head tilt and the sexy stare that I can't resist. I bite my lip and look down.

"Ok, if you don't want to drink... then you need to sing for the public."

I look at him with shock and then I say

"Absolutely not!"

"No it's not an option, sweetheart. Now that you are all healed, you need to live a little. On a average humans odds, you wouldn't be here right now."

The bartender gave him a look that basically said "what the hell is this guy talking about?" So I chuckled at him and he realized that I noticed his facial expressions. He then gives me an embarrassed smile and walks away blushing.

Kol looks at him, then at me and says

"Something I missed?"

"Nothing, just the bartender."

"Ah, so the bartender was flirting with you?... I'm going to kill him, be right back." He winks, then stands and I give him the puppy eye look, which I know he can't ever resist.

"Ok, fine. I won't kill him." He says sitting down.

"Thanks bestie." I say smiling wide.

He drinks a shot of tequila and says "Whatever."

I look around the room and see a not-so-tough crowd.

"Ok. I have decided that I will sing for the public."

He gives me the sexy stare again and says

"Oh?.. why the sudden change of heart?"

"I notice that the crowd isn't so tough, so I figured 'why the hell not?'"

"Atta girl."

He says patting my back and then rubbing it. I try to hide the pleasure that I was getting from it.

"But why singing?"

"Because you have a beautiful voice. I've heard it before, while you were in the shower, but I never told you that I heard it... To prevent you from blushing."

He looks at me and adds "Like what you are doing right now."

I just realized that he was right, I feel my cheeks and they are burning hot. The burning sensation moved throughout my body and then he says

"You ok?" while removing his hand from my back.

"Yea." I clear my throat.

"Fine.... Well here goes nothing."
