Seriously? What is it with people all worried because of a swollen arm? Makoto gave me a herbal tea for the pain. Haru gave me a mackerel with pineapple and some green leaves. I appreciate his thoughtfulness but I really find it gross.
Who would eat mackerel with pineapple and green leaves? Nanase Haruka.
Nevertheless, I felt loved. I have a lot of people I can count on. I am so grateful for that. Just keep me away from the mackerel.
I took the goodies and place it inside a paper bag. I checked if I still have any other errands to run. None. Just my luck. Might as well go home and kill time or maybe rest.
Suddenly, I remembered something. Th picture. The stupid cherry blossom picture. I need to talk to Natsume. I found something interesting in the poem. I also need to go repair this camera. You know the one I ruined with Kool-Aid? I saw something odd when Koichi's scrolling through the pictures when I was bookshelf climbing.
I wore my coat and head outside. I made sure all the doors are locked especially the student council room. I bumped into someone huge. I looked up and saw who it was.
Asahina Subaru. The Superman who dropped me. Great.
He panicked. It was like I had a knife on me and any moment I would slit his throat. Seeing him all frightened amused me. So, I played along.
"I-I'm sorry. I didn't see you there," He said. Trying his best to hide his stutter. I stared blankly at him. Gods, he was petrified of me.
"Is your arm all right? I heard from Azusa," He asked. Great way to ruin the moment of horror. The swollen arm.
"What is it to you?" I asked.
"D-don't get me wrong. I'm just concerned,"
"Yeah, yeah,"
"I'm sorry," Gods, he's a softy like Iori.
"I'm playing with you, Subaru. Loosen up," I chuckled. "It's ok. No need to be sorry. It wasn't big of a deal,"
"So you're not mad at me?"
"Why would I? It's not like I die because of a scrape in the knee," I said. "Why are you here by the way?"
"Basketball practice,"
"Oh right. The tournament's in a week. I'm rooting for you,"
"Thanks. So we're ok?"
"You're killing me,"
"I'm sorry,"
"No hard feelings, Subaru," I gave him an assuring smile. "By the way, where's your idiotic brother, Natsume?"
"I haven't seen or heard from him since this morning. Tsubaki said he's been acting weird lately,"
"Yeah, I heard. What's up with him?"
"I don't know. Girl problem?"
"That's the most idiotic thing you ever said to me,"
"Natsume's not the open type,"
"Figures,"
"Why are you finding for him though? Do you need to tell Natsume something? I can pass it for you,"
"Let's talk somewhere private,"
"Sure. Let me just change,"
Do you know how exasperating it is to wait for somebody who takes very long in the changing room?
Imagine losing your sanity. That's how.
He must've taken a shower. He does stink.
To pass time, I played with my phone and beat the stupid alien boss for the twentieth time. I am a natural in any video games, especially if it involves zombies.
