If Only You Remember Epilogue

Jasmine's Pov:

A year has passed. Only a year and it felt like it was only yesterday since Zayn and I shared that moment that night in Bradford. I can still remember the feeling of his lips against mine and my back pressed up against a tree with him hovering above me. I would never forget the night how I felt. I had opened up to him, at last. I realized I was madly in love with him.

After every chance I've took, in the end I made the right decision and that was falling head over heels in love with Zayn. He and I have been through thick and thin. Our relationship isn't like others. Our relationship is one of a kind. We argue almost every day then we instantly make up. It ends in a kiss or two. We share our banter through arguments, too.

Yes, he had forgotten who I was. Yes, he was a jerk. Yes, he never believed me when he was with Perrie. Yes, he had broken me. I will always remember that. I too was a stubborn jerk who argued with him and never cooperated fairly. I believe in second chances. He has his second chance and now, everything is going great. He loves me and I love him for him. It has been exactly a year since that night in Bradford. Since then, we have been stronger than ever.

Perrie vanished from our lives. She is now across the world on tour with her band mates. Rumors has it that she is currently with a new guy name Henry Williams. Zayn and I wish him luck. He will need it. She no longer had bothered us or caused a stir in our relationship. With her gone, everything has been perfect. A little too perfect I should say.

Makayla is doing great in her modeling career. Her and Harry's relationship hit it off well. They have been together for almost two and a half years now. They are staying strong. They have even talked about marriage and kids but that is yet to come later on in life.

Danielle and Liam unfortunately have split but it was a mutual thing. They have stayed friends and talk once in awhile. The two of them have moved on with other people who are just as kind. I still talk to Danielle. Our friendship has never ended. We hang out almost every weekend with Eleanor.

Speaking of Eleanor. She and Louis have been doing great! They have been together for three years now. Eleanor and I are still close. We talk almost every day on just about anything thing. She still studies in university of law. Louis is supporting her and is always there for her. In a few years she will graduate and I will be there in front row cheering her on.

Niall and I are still best buddies. I always come to him when I need a shoulder to cry on. He and I can always share a good laugh when I'm feeling down. We too always hang out whether it's going bowling or in each other's flat eating and watching movies. He would constantly teach me how to play guitar and I'm proud to say I've learned a view cords from him.

Zachary is now with a girl who is lovely and nice. Her names is Jaymie. She has long blonde hair and green eyes. She currently goes to university to become a doctor. They have been together for six months now. Zachary works out on the Football field along side with his childhood-friend James. He plays football too but mainly helps coaches.

I currently work in my art studio with Zayn. He always comes to visit me and even does a few of his own art works such as graffiti and comic book sketches. We have moved in together in a place in London. It has an amazing view of the city. Our place has not been burn down from a specific blonde, thank goodness. We are celebrating our year together in a few days. While he is on tour, I'm usually in the art studio or working. My parents would visit me once in awhile from Bradford. So have Zayn's. They are thrilled to have me back. His mom had said and I quote, "I'm so glad Jasmine is back! I was so sick of that psychotic blonde ex-girlfriend of his." Zayn and I would always go up to the indoor garden we have created. It will always be in our memories.

Everything has been going great for everyone. There is no more drama or heartbreaks. Zayn and I have talked about engagement and kids but I told him sometime in the near future we will. He understood unfortunately, things don't go the way they are planned. Of course fate came in (once again) and now we are happily engaged. When we took a vacation down in Paris last summer, he proposed to me on the top of the Eiffel Tower while we had dinner. It was very romantic and he knew too! In the end I was in tears and I could barely speak so he took that as a yes.

Now we are three months into our engagement. In my art studio it is spray painted in bold blue letters, 'Jasmine and Zayn~Summer 2014 of Paris.' The summer of our engagement. In exactly four months, I will be walking down the aisle in a white dress. Then to our secret honeymoon that I am oblivious of the location. Zayn will not tell me a thing. We still have much to plan.

Ever since fate brought us together again with a bump and a coffee spill, it made me realize that this is no cliché love story or one of those fanfictions. This was reality with a pinch of cliché moments. Not a lot but a few. Okay, there was a lot of those cliché moments but, in the end I am happy to be where I am. Now it doesn't matter if Zayn didn't remember who I was. He wasn't the only one who was a stubborn jerk.

He may have been a jerk in the beginning but he proved me wrong. I never thought I would see the day again when I say this but I have fallen utterly in love with Zayn Malik, once again.

Nothing will change that.
