Noah woke up to the sound of the fire alarm going off in his hotel. He grabbed his slip on shoes and jacket that were by his bed and ran out. He bumped into Perry on the way and they stormed out of the building together.

Once everyone was out of the hotel the teachers relaxed because they were all safe. The whereabouts of the fire were unknown but it wasn't a drill. Noah put his hands i his pocket only to find his phone.

Hey, Finn. You probably won't be awake but there's been a fire at the hotel. Just letting ya know.

He received a reply almost instantly.

What caused it?

No idea. But I think it's on the fifth floor.

"Noah Schnapp?" Noah snapped his head up to the call of his name. "Do we have Noah Schnapp?"

"Here!" He said raising his hand. "I thought we already did the register." He whispered to Perry.

"Yeah, but were doing it again. Here!" Perry replied. "Who are you texting?"

"Finn."

Oh, I see. I hope your stuff will be alright.

"Oh! The one James is pissed about?" Perry said.

"Why is he pissed?" Noah questioned, looking up from his phone.

"He thinks Finn was the cause of your break up and that you want to be with him not James."

"That's not true. That's nowhere near true. Did he tell you why we broke up?"

"He said you yelled at him in the mall and broke up with him." Perry told him.

"He tried to kiss me but I rejected." Noah started.

"Good idea." Perry interjected. "Sorry. Please carry on."

"Then he pushed me against a wall. Finn helped me. James then had Finn against the wall so I shoved him off and yelled. Oh, hang on."

Yeah, me too. I've got my phone and that's the most important thing since I forgot to buy stuff earlier. NO MY CANADIAN DOLLARS!!

"Wow. You're really hyper over text." Perry laughed over Noah's shoulder.

"Shut up." He said, lightly hitting Perry.

"Aww." Perry cooed. Noah hit him again.

Please don't. I don't deserve it.

"Look at little Noah being nice to little Finny boi."

"Hey! That's what I call him, not you." Noah said jumping up at Perry. James strutted over to them both.

"Hello, loser. And Noah." He said.

"That's rude!" Perry yelled over the chatter of all the hotel residents.

"Not really." James took Noah's phone and looked through his messages.

"Give it back!" Noah made a move to get it but James put it way too high. "Now you're making fun of my height." Noah said gloomily.

"What's this? Oh no! You told him about me?" Noah wondered how he managed to scroll three weeks ago in one minute. He jumped smacking James' arms on the way, luckily catching his phone as it fell.

"Noah! Get here now!" Mrs Cradford yelled. Noah slouched his way to her. "Why did you save your phone? The rule is: 'Save only yourself. Valuables can be replaced. You can't.' And you saved your phone."

"Actually, I took my jacket and shoes. My phone happened to be in my jacket. Thank you very much." Noah responded with slight sass.

"Don't sass me, boy. You should know the consequences by now."

"Yes, miss." Noah said then he turned around and slumped against a wall.

Noah looked around and saw Finn at the side of the road. He ran to him and landed in a jumping hug.
