Finn stormed over to Julia and slapped the bitch. She stumbled back and looked at Finn with a face full of rage. She shoved the right side of him against the locker next to Noah.

"He still loves me." She sneered down Finn's aching ear. "So back off, bitch." As she turned, Julia flipped her hair in an attempt to be sassy.

"Finn are you alright?" Noah worriedly asked.

"I'm fine, Noah." The boys shared a secure, loving hug. "Let's go home."

"I don't want to miss school." Noah frantically told Finn but followed the boy who had started walking down the corridor. "Finn?"

"Yes?" Finn turned around to find Noah right in front of him. Noah wrapped his arms around the older boy's neck and pulled him into a kiss. They separated and Finn rested his forehead on Noah's. "Let's go then."

They had made it to Finn's house when Noah got a call.

"Hello... oh hi Mom... I'm with Finn... uh..because.. because I don't know... ok Mom I'm on my way." Noah sighed as he hung up the phone. "I've gotta go now. Bye Finn."

"Bye Noah." Finn said sadly before entering his house.

Noah turned to walk home and kept his head down for the majority of the walk. He crossed to the middle of the road before a car zoomed around the corner and hit the fragile boy.

Luck had never really been on Noah Schnapp's side. He awoke in the hospital with his family surrounding him. Something grabbed his hand, he turned to see Finn. He tried to smile but his face aches.

Beep.

Beep.

Doctors and nurses frantically rushed about trying to sort out wires. Noah's Mom grabbed Finn and hugged him tightly. Noises emerged from all around the room, Noah screamed out in pain.

"Mom! I don't want to die!"
