"Mother, I'm home!" Noah yelled as he walked through the front door. She wrapped him in the tightest hug. "Stop, you're killing me!"

"Sorry. It's just that there was an attack in Canada yesterday and I was so worried." Karine rambled on.

"Mom!" Noah yelled. "Look here I am and I'm fine." He started to make his way to the stairs so he could unpack.

"How's James?" Noah stopped in his tracks and slowly turned on the spot.

"Uh, I don't know. You might want to ask him." Noah snapped and ran to his room. His slammed his door shut to get a point across. He threw his backpack to the floor and jumped face first onto his bed.

Noah took out his phone and messaged Finn, his only friend.

Noah blushed and started tearing up.

"YOU'RE STUPID!" Noah yelled throwing his phone on the floor and began to cry. "You emotional wreck." He whispered. He stood up to check his newly scratched phone to see that Finn had sent another message.

Noah locked his phone and placed it on his bedside table then picked up his notebook and pen. He decided to write some weird poetic stuff. But he ripped the page out and chucked it in frustration.

Why do I bother? Noah thought. It was one of them times where he was having a crisis in his room and crying. He lay on his bed with his arms outstretched.

"Noah? I brought you a snack." Mrs Schnapp said, knocking on the door. "Noah?" She screamed after opening the door. Noah screamed too and jumped up. He started laughing.

"It's a small spider, Mom!" He laughed loudly.

"It's huge! Look at it! It's going to kill me!" She shoved the plate in his hands and ran out.

"Love you!"
