Yeah sure. I mean it'd be good before we meet. I'll call you.

Noah was nervous about Finn seeing his face. What if he thinks I'm ugly? He'll not want to meet me. Ugh! Noah shut up just press the button. His finger lingered over the button for a few seconds. He pushed it down with his other hand, as though it was someone else. The noise rang out and he waited for Finn to pick up.

"Hello, Noah." Finn said while waving enthusiastically.

"Hi, Finn." Noah smiled. The quality was poor but he could make out Finn's features. "Are you alone because I don't want your parents-"

"It's fine, Noah. I don't think they care anymore." Noah sighed in relief.

"I just don't want you getting hurt. If you ever do please tell me."

"Of course I will. You're the only person that I talk to at the moment." Finn looked down in shame.

"What do you mean? Finn, are you blocking out the world around you?" Finn didn't respond with words, he just pulled down his sleeve and showed Noah his forearm. "FINN?! No!" Noah's eyes started tearing up.

"No, Noah, don't cry. Please. I'm sorry I didn't tell you. I was scared you'd judge me and call me a non-unique depressive emo. Everyone else did when they saw in PE." Noah had tears running down his face. He couldn't speak. "I understand you hate me now, I realise-"

"I don't hate you." Noah chocked out. "I could never hate you. I'm not going to say I understand, because I don't. But know I'm here to talk to. Promise me one thing?"

"Anything." Finn was crying too.

"When I see you, I would love to see no fresh ones."

"I'll try Noah. But it may not work." They both sat in silence for five minutes, trying to stop the tears from falling out their eyes. Finn leant forwards into the camera, reading a text. "My mom told me to go downstairs, I'll be back."

"Ok." Noah looked around his room and grabbed the book on his bedside table. A Monster Calls. He started to read the chapter he was on. The Rest of the First Tale. He got about halfway through when Finn came back.

"I'm back." Finn suddenly said, making Noah jump slightly.

"What happened?" Noah asked curiously.

"Not much, she just asked where her hairbrush was. Like I'd know!" Finn laughed.

"Yeah, true. Unless you stole it." Noah said, joining in on the laughter.

"Can you repeat that? I think the signal's going." The quality of Finn's face started to get even worse than it already was. Noah's too. "Well, uhh bye then."

"BYE!" Noah yelled to his phone before it cut off. He sighed and decided to start packing for Vancouver. "What will I need?" He said aloud.

"Here's your kitlist, honey." His mom said from the door. Noah screamed.

"How long have you been there?" He asked, taken aback.

"Not too long but I heard you shout 'Bye' so I came to give you this. You better start packing, dear boy." Noah took the kitlist and looked at it. "Bye, Noah."

"Ughh. Too much on the list."
