The next morning Noah asked his mom if Finn could come around after school. Karine being Karine, said yes. Finn's mom was a bit hesitant but let him go.

School went by with no problems from anyone except Julia. She tried flirting with Finn but he ignored her presence. Noah became quiet and barely talked during lunch.

After school, the boys went to Noah's house as quick as they could. Finn said a quick and polite 'Hello' to Mrs Schnapp then ran into Noah's room. They threw themselves onto the bed and rested there for a while.

"Noah?" Finn whispered.

"Yeah?"

"Why do you always go quiet when Julia comes?" Finn asked, facing his boyfriend.

"It doesn't matter." Noah quietly said.

"It does." Finn placed his hand on Noah's cheek and looked him in the eyes.

"You'll find it stupid."

"I won't. I-"

"You will!" Noah interjected. Finn raised his eyebrows and pulled a stupid face. "Fine!"

"Yay!" Finn cheered.

"She tried to do things." Noah whispered.

"What kind of things?"

"Bad things. I'm only twelve and she tried to make me not act like a normal twelve year old would." Noah whimpered.

"Oh, Noah!" Finn cried and slowly kissed his boyfriend. He pulled away to taste salty water. "Don't cry, Noah."

"But, the memories." Noah cried harder and Finn brought him into his chest.

"I won't let anyone hurt you. I love you too much."

"What?" Noah whispered.

"I said I love you." Finn repeated, meaning it so much.

"I-I love you too." Noah replied then kissed him again.

"Boys! Dinner!" Mrs Schnapp yelled from the bottom of the stairs.

"Let's go. Dry your eyes first." Finn said. Noah giggled but wiped his eyes on Finn's shirt. "Not on me, you twat!"
