CHAPTER 11

"That was rude." I grumbled as he pulled me into our room. He kissed me harshly and then leant his forehead against my own.

"I don't care." He grumbled. "You're mine."

I snorted. "No one was disputing that."

Grumbling against my hair, Aiden hugged me, sniffing my scent.

"That's really weird you know." I laughed.

"I don't care." He grinned. He kissed my cheek once more before taking his shirt off. "Now we need to get changed for the treaty signing and the dinner."

My jaw dropped and my cheeks flushed at the sight of his chest... which was lovely. "F-formal right?"

He nodded and slipped on a suit shirt.

Nipping into the bathroom, I slipped on my new dress. Still in awe of the soft, navy material, I smiled a little as I brushed my fingers across the bodice.

Walking back into the bedroom, my heart stopped as I saw Aiden fixing his tie. He looked gorgeous; he was wearing a black suit jacket and trousers , white shirt and black tie. It was simple- but extremely handsome.

He noticed me looking and grinned. "Like what you see?" He raised an eyebrow.

I blushed and shied away. "You look nice."

Aiden smiled and blushed a little as he wrapped his arms around my waist. "You look beautiful."

I rested my forehead on his shoulder. "Thanks..." I mumbled.

----- ------ -----

We met up with Nick, Scott, April, Thomas and Robert. They were all dress formally, with April even scraping her wild hair into a neat bun, showing off her pale coral dress. The boys were all wearing suits- of course Nick's had a twist and his tie was bright, ice blue.

The meeting room was long and boring, like a meeting room should be. Harris, along with his beta and Gamma were already sat down at one end, papers spread between them. An old man was sat halfway up the table- his face was wrinkled with wisdom and knowledge.

"Alpha Aiden," Harris stood with a smile. He gestured to the man. "This is Shima, he's the Shaman who will perform the signing. "

My brow wrinkled.

'I didn't know Shamen were needed to sign a treaty...' Leona said.

We all sat except Aiden and Harris, and Shima stood.

I watched with interested olive coloured orbs as the two leaders stood opposite each other, with Shima directing them.

"Before we start, do you both fully understand what signing this treaty involves and what should happen if you were to break it without the proper severing?" The two leaders nodded. "Hold hands." Shima instructed. They did so, clasping hands, their arm muscles tensing.

Shima wrapped a strand of thread around their wrists. Immediately the two men winced. Looking closer I saw tears prick both of their eyes, which made anger boil through me.

"That looks painful..." Nick winced. "That thread is made of Wolfsbane and mistletoe- so it hurts them both."

I watched on, curious.

"This treaty binds you both to an unshakeable alliance- you must protect an guide each other as friends." Shima chanted. A two drops of blood, one from Harris and one from Aiden, fell onto the paper on the desk- the treaty- which immediately glowed brightly, before dimming.
