CHAPTER 18

My heart froze. Everyone froze. I think in the distance, a pin dropped, loudly.

Tears swelled in my eyes. "W-what?" Aiden took a step closer to me, protective.

William and Chase looked towards me, both of their eyes brimming with tears as well. "Jamie I'm so sorry..." Will whispered. "Emma is your mother, but not ours..."

"Jemima!" Emma yelled, shrilly. "You can't believe all these lies! I wouldn't ever lie to you! I love you!"

Chase yelled, 'If Will lies explain why you keep meeting up with Faulkner!'

Aiden growled at the revelation, navy orbs sparking. It's a stalemate- everyone waited for someone else to speak.

"What..?" Aiden asks, looking at Chase.

"She's been meeting up with Faulkner and some other guy!"

Emma, a panicked look on her features, screamed and ran towards William, her claws still unsheathed. She slashed at him again, cutting his shoulder. Nickoli snarled and stood in front of his mate protectively. "You killed our father! I know you did! You will pay for all you've done" Will roared. Nick held him back as Will struggled against him.

"Scott! Raffi!" Aiden order, "Hold Emma and take her to a cell."

As Emma is dragged away, I watched silently, before collapsing to my knees. Tears spilt down my face shamelessly.

Aiden knelt beside me, hugging me tight and kissing my cheek. "I'm so sorry, Kitty..."

I sniffled. "You have nothing to apologise for."

"But I do..." William knelt by me. "I'm sorry you guys had to find out this way... but I saw Emma put something in Chase's drink and I couldn't pretend any longer."

"It's fine..." I shook my head. "I'm glad we know..."

"Me too..." Chase agreed. "I can't believe you're only our half-sister..."

Another bout of tears escaped my eyes at his words.

"Would you like to help question her?" Aiden asked Will.

My older brother's- half brother's- eyes darkened. "With pleasure."
