Felicity pov
I woke up to the smell of breakfast so I did my hygiene routine then got dressed (in mm) then I went downstairs. Jayden was downstairs shirtless making me breakfast I smiled "Awe look at my boo cooking but we're going to IHOP aren't we baby." I laughed at his face. "I'm just joking babe we'll eat whatever you make us but we gotta eat fast me, milli, and Jake are going baby shopping do you want to go with us find some stuff for our baby like a crib, bottles, baby monitors, and one of those baby earphones I read somewhere that baby's are aware of everything that happens before their born."
"Oh no your going to be one of those mom's? "
" One of what mom's."
"The ones that have a book for everything their child does."
"No I just was looking online and it popped up on the screen so I thought we should talk to the baby so they'll know our voice."
"Yeah ok whatever you want to do baby." He smiled and gave me my food I finished eating so I washed the breakfast dishes while he got dressed. When he came downstairs I was laying on the couch.
"Well it took you long enough got me all sleepy."
"We can stay home."
"If we stay home I'm going by myself tomorrow after school."
"No come on get up."
"Yeah, Milli just texted me saying she's on her way so come on baby I'm ready to go."
"Yeah I got the keys come on." I got up and walked to the door and set the alarm I walked out the house and to the car while jayden locked the door. We got in the car and drove to the mall when we made it Jayden dropped me off at the front then went and parked. Milli and Jake came up to me as I waited on Jayden he walked up and we went inside and went to the baby section we looked at some clothes but we don't know the gender of the baby we just got bottles and formula all that stuff that the baby needs we picked a couple of toys and some pacifiers. After getting some things for the baby we ran into some girls from school. "Felicity and Milli together hell most have froze over. Why y'all got baby stuff?"
"Oh my cousin is having a baby shower so yeah the favorite gets options but we gotta go um find a cake yeah. A cake so see ya at school." Milli said hurrying off leaving me and Jayden there I looked at her as she waited for my answer.
"Apparently her cousin married my second cousin so we both gotta go the baby shower so we gotta go pick gender revealing balloons." Me and Jayden walked off to another store buying stuffed animals and making bets "I bet they'll like Charlotte bunny better than peter snake." We caught back up with milli who was cautiously hiding behind Jake she looked like she had been crying. So I asked "what happened?" She shook her head but Jake told us what was going on.
"Her babies father told us he wants nothing to do with her or the baby. So I'm bout to go fight him."
"No." Milli said softly while shaken her head.
"Nah ain't nobody gon play my little sister like that."
"Well let me know what you trying to do bruh I gotchu." Jayden said I looked at him like what the hell.
"Why is it always fighting with y'all at the end of the day just know milli we support you and I'm here."
She nodded and we started walking out the mall with our bags and I thought why not invite them over for food and a movie while I online shop. "Y'all should come over for dinner and movies." They looked at each other then back at me.
"Sure we can online shop for the big stuff." We made our way back to the house as they followed we pulled into the driveway I saw my mom standing outside so I rolled my eyes. She approached the car while I got out.
"Listen I know you still don't wanna talk to me but I got a gift for the baby."
"Alright. I'll accept your gift but for the sake of our child." I said grabbing Jayden's hand. "We should all seat down and talk tomorrow I guess."
"We can do that." She said handing me the gifts and going to her car. We walked inside and sat all the bags down and started cooking well Jayden did. I started online shopping with milli while Jake laid on the sofa. I started to feel a little bummed and Jayden could tell so he put the food in the oven and made me go upstairs with him. He sat on the bed motioning for me to come to him.
I did but it didn't last long "What's the matter baby?"
"I opened my big ass mouth now we're sitting and talking with our parents tomorrow."
"Why is that a bad thing?" As he said that I was beyond pissed I removed myself from him, like you of all people should know why.
"Because, it's difficult for me I just met her. She walked out on me without a second thought so why wouldn't she do it to her grandkid if she had the chance!?"
"You always talking bout it's different for me, my mom left me too so stop trying to put us in different categories!"
"I'm NOT trying to we just are. Your mom kept you then left my mom gave me away thought she wanted me changed her mind then left again. I don't have to try and put us in different categories that's JUST how it is."
"This is a good thing them being around if they up and leave again then shit blame me. But hell at this point the past is in the past for a reason leave it there."
"This talk didn't make me feel any better matter of fact it made me feel worse." Once that was said I went to the bathroom and put my hair in a bun. Then I went back downstairs ignoring his existence for the rest of the night. I was so pissed I slept in the guest room with the door locked.
