Felicity's POV
I woke up and got ready for a big day of shopping I went and got in the shower. While Jahseh brushed his teeth once we finished getting ready we left to pick up the things we needed for the reveal/baby shower we got the powder cannon just in case Jayden doesn't come. Then we went and got our matching outfits "so you ordered one for Jayden too right?"
"Yeah I honestly hope he makes it because this will be the final straw."
"I understand this his kid he's missing out on. But just know you got me I'm not going nowhere anytime soon I promise."
"I hope not I already lost you once I'm not going to again." He smiled and grabbed my hand and I smiled back. We left the store and went to pick up table clothes and little candy bags for the guest in the shapes of bottles and rattles. Then I went next door for gender neutral streamers to hang on the inside of the venue along with confetti to go on the floor. Then I met Jahseh at the car and went into the venue to setup and meet the ballon people which also had the gender powdered in one of them for a game we had designed. I threw white and gold glitter on the ground and the tables we sat plates, cups, and silverware out. Then for decoration and mystery a gold decorative heel and white bow tie out as centerpieces on each table.
"The place looks great now we have to go home and get ready." I nodded and followed Jahseh to the car we drove home and went inside to get ready I took a quick shower and put my hair in a ponytail. Then I put on the white shirt I brought me, Jahseh, and Jayden along with blue jeans and white converse. I opened the door to see jahseh dressed "did you call the photographer?"
"No I got a person coming to do that."
"They better be good and here on time this is for my scrapbook." I said heading towards my phone to text Jayden. I told we were getting ready to go to the baby shower and for him to meet me there I have your clothes. I went downstairs and made me a sandwich "Jahseh!" I yelled and he came running downstairs.
"Are you ok?!"
"Yeah I wanted to ask if you wanted a sandwich?"
"No I'm good."
"Ok great can you make me one for the road?" I smiled while eating my sandwich. He rolled his eyes and made me a sandwich I checked my phone still no message from Jayden so I looked at Jahseh. "We might to take the backup supplies because he hasn't responded to me still." Then my phone rang I look down and it was my brother.

Me: Heyy Bubby!
Micheal: Hey sissy what time am I supposed to be there cuz mom and dad taking forever to get back from the store trying to get some gifts.
Me: Well I'll be there soon but I done except everyone until 4-4:30.
Micheal: Ok yeah I'll see you at 4 bye.

"That was Micheal they'll be there at 4."
"Ok, your sandwich is finished I'm gonna go put the stuff in the car. I'll honk for you to come out." I nodded and went upstairs to grab my purse from the closet and a box fell down. I went to open it but I heard the horn so I put the box in my nightstand and hurried downstairs. Locking the door behind I got in the car checking my phone one last time before turning it off for the day. When we got to the place I seen Jayden's car so I smiled and got out the car and walked over to the car but he wasn't in it. So I went into the building but I still didn't see him. Then 4 came around and no site of him then 4 turned into 5 and still hadn't seen so it can time to reveal the gender so me and Jahseh had to do it. I called after the party while Jahseh and Micheal were loading the car. "I don't understand why your car is still here and your no where to be found I'm going home to get the spare key to your car it will be at my home you will have to come to the house and get it." I hung up and got in the car I looked at Jahseh. " let's go I gotta get his spare key and put his car in the garage." He nodded and took me home I got the spare key and we went back I got in his car then went to the house I parked his car in my garage. Then went inside while Jahseh brought the gifts in I went up stairs and started painting the babies room.
"Well the baby shower was great."
"Yeah."
"I know your upset but there's gotta be a reason he wasn't there." I started crying.
"There's always a reason I just don't see how you can make all these promises and never come through with them. He promised he'll be there he promised he would have my back and he's constantly let me fall." Jahseh hugged me tightly.
"I'm sorry. Let's put the paint away and lay down for a bit and I'll make something to eat." He kisses my forehead and walked me to bed. Then he went downstairs to cook and I opened my nightstand getting the box out of there when I opened it I was in complete shock. All I could think was who is this ring for.
